Looking at the DOWs performance we could get swamped tomorrow
Isnt that what they are doing
GS lowered it yesterday:-)
Somethings dropped off the wagon. Cant seem to find out what just yet. Dow started down but not for any particular reason I dont think.
Whats happened here then
nah that was last week. It was the Asian markets. They wobbled after a good 7 weeks ran out of steam. Its a nervous time for investors - and they got nervous. same happened here today after lagardes ex employers stuck the boot in as a bit o spite over Brexit - obviously it means we are the worst economy ever , anywhere and the rest of the EU is boomin. IMF - never wrong, never political
No. Asian markets down - for no particular reason other than a nervous twitch
Whats fell off the wagon this am. Anyone know?
They have £195m cash
Cheers chaps.
What's caused the drop of the Dow followed by the ftse
Thats on Share News. Whats the reason for the reverse this pm? Dow gone same way
That may be true skier but you do seem to like keep saying it. Repetition wont ease the pain. Things seem to be moving in the right direction in China however. Lets hope the Covid situation doesnt kibosh it again. It may be that Russia is looking for a way out without losing face so it maybe possible that some sort of deal may be reached in the New Year - but Im not holding my breath - flattening every bleedin building and city wont have helped smooth things out
High prices may be here to stay but if high inflation is then we are in the ****
What I see in the press is Amazon workers going on strike after 'an insulting' pay offer !!
Total have already said they are pulling investment. Jeremy needs to stop being a Hunt
It was . But during Covid on line was just about the only choice and on line companies got over excited including Amazon which took on more warehouse space than it needed. When they announced they were cutting back it spooked the market. And with looming recession and Putins war investors took fright. It has never recovered since thought things are beginning to look up as its realised that online is here to stay and that just in time has put the wind up a lot of companies who now want to keep a store of stock. Lidl is one who have took on warehousing to store non perishables like tins of beans etc. There will be some cutting back but it will take out the weaker players leaving those with quality RE like BBOX and SHED in stronger positions. Thats mo opinion others may have differing ones
Recession, Andrew Bailey, Jermey Hunt, Vladimir Putin plus plenty other shadows - take your pick
Of course its hyseria. What else would you call that idiotic school child widely reported blubbering on the medias today.
What else would you call reparations to countries 'ravaged by climate change) - as yet unproven especially the human effect. Do we not get credit for the steam engine, the railways, the myriad of industrial inventions that have brought wealth to large parts of the world. No one was aware of the dangers. Britons have suffered as much as any population. I think the great smog of london killed 4000 in a few days. It wasnt Britons that burnt away the Amazon or the forests of SE Asia to produce palm oil. It wasnt Britons that overgrazed the African savannas. The Chinese can't claim not to know the consequences of their powere stations - though they may dispute it. Do you think their representative (if they could be ****d to turn up to COP 2027) would agree to pay reparations on Day 1? I have grave doubts. Its hysteria and stupidity in my book
You may remember ex div today - 6p !
