Everyone who understand the current market know how conservative the current target price is of 51p so I am sure there is the possibility that we will move towards that target in the next few months most probably going over 30p in the next few weeks as private investors top up their ISA's.I topped up my holding twice today and will most probably utilise my next years' allowance later on this week or early next

In my opinion I think the BOD will accept a price north of £2.The target price was £2.25.Anything lower than £2 I am sure the BOD will say that could achieve better in the medium term.However they made so many mistakes last year with their press releases which led the share price to slip from the 160's they need to improve on that price significantly.I did ay last year that they were opening themselves up for a takeover as they were so undervalued.But with a possibility of an uplift of over 30% from wher we are today is a good short term investment.I again topped up this morning

Very surprised after yesterdays steller RNS why this has not exploded.With what is already there if it does not sharply very soon it might be taken out by one of the large multinationals too cheaply.For instance if they offered around 50p it would most probably be accepted by current shareholders when as we all know by waiting a little longer this will rise substantialy

All very quiet running into the weekend with virtually no news or articles since Monday which leads me to believe something is cooking.Would not want to be out of this weekend as there is only one more weekend before the deadline after this

There is no way this could become a luxury brand nor should it as the market just below luxury brand status is far bigger and also has good margins.The mistake Burberry has made in recent years has to go after the luxury market which has held back growth as in the world it is quite a small market and its customers are more fickle than most.I sold most of my Burberry holding four years ago and recently have bought back in at more than 20% dicount compared to what I sold them for.

I do not think that the cost of living increases will affect retail too much as there is srtill a wall of savings from the last two years which could be spent also there are more people in work.Energy usage should be lower as more people go back to work.An average couple this year with both the rate rebate and loan will get £350 back which is half the average increase and if they are on average earnings they will get back the increase in the NI threshold together with any wage increase.Then on the inflation side many things have not gone up but there are some on food but many can save by shopping around and currently by doing this my food bill have hardly changed and we eat very well indeed.

Interesting to see the share price rising again this afternoon.IMO I think there must be another bid being tabled and somewher within one of the orgainisations ther must be a leak as we saw last week.I think it could be an interesting few days

With all the positives on this company I think that in the next month or so we will see significant rises in the share price.When the next RNS is published with hopefull more good news then the price will really spike in my opinion so I again today increased my holding

The othe good reason for Tosca buying is that it will reduce its average cost,which when the final offers come in will increase their margin.If they decide to purchase however it will also reduce the amount they will need to pay to get the rest of the shares so they might be able to enhance the offer price a little.Whatever the company is still way undervalued,it was in the 160's last yearprior to the recovery.

I should have added I think that the share price will perk up this afternoon as I am sure that due to the board actions over the last week someone out there will see what a bargain this share is and snap it up at a price which would have been muchigher if not for the BOd

There should be an investigation and in the mentime the board due their incompetance shoud state that they are willing to sell to the highest bidder and then resign once the businss is sold hopefully to people who will take it forward than this motley crew who seems to only want to save their jobs

The reason the market does not like the RNS is that it missed announcing any of these bids last week.They really are quite poor and it has decided me that really as long as we get a decent offer I will accept as I do not think the BOD is working in our interests .

Most odd.We were not told on the 18th of the 130p bid and quite amazing the second bid came in last Tuesday and we have had to wait for this RNS.I think it is highly likely that another offer will come in the next few days .I just hope they are quicker in their respnse.I am not happy with our BOD who allowed the share to get so low in the first place and now seem to be playing games to save their jobs

I would think in my opinion if an offer has been made at 130p which will be rejected the share price will advance to 150p which will become the new floor until more news comes. In my bones think that the takeout price will be north of 200p if not getting close to £2.75 as it has so much room to grow

Was not ever a fan of his however when you actually look at the facts he did not take money from pensioners as the dividends were taken when the company was profitable and it like saying to the John Lewis staff that their bonuses (dividends) that they got many years ago should be paid back

Cannot understand why this stock is not zooming ahead with all the good news to follow.At these prices if I had some spare cash I would be buying but currently have a lot invested in some takeover plays

Starting to move up to my target price for the weekend.As I said some months ago this is a prime takeover target followed by Joules and Marks and Spencer

This share should be soaring as over the last month it has been falling.It will be posting stellar results in May and most probably will rebound to the mid £2.50's when they come out

The fall yesterday was mad.Yes they reduced the forcast for next year but it still was higher than for the year that has closed recently.Well run company that is doing well.

I think this most probably will go over £1.30 today as it is still undervalued and investors will not want to be out over the weekend in case an offer comes in.The retail figures tod are good considering the media points in the other direction as retailers look not against a previous month but the month the previous year which showed very good growth
