That's great news! I would buy more here if I had the money. I wonder if they will be allowed to pay a dividend from their fixed contracts that would be a big confidence booster. This is a great share for those who have the patience.
What is the position on pensions? Where is the info on this?
CHRI55 has bought a couple shares and starts ramping, then he sells a couple and starts trolling. You can see it in time again, so boring and predictable.
You need to reread the fundamentals of the company and keep your head straight. It's a great company with cash in hand to ride the challenges, it will bounce back, be patient.
I was in at 69p and I'm ready to rid it it out too. Buses are supposed to back at about 70% of pre- covid levels. So it will be a while before we see a dividend, but there is no danger here as government support will continue untill we break even I am sure. So I am sure we will keep climbing steadily.
All this negativity is for nothing here. We will hit 70p just with the reinstating of the dividend, which is going to happen as soon as the lockdown is lifted and energy consumption returns close to normality.
All the other changes in the pipeline will just push this up further. It's just about having the patience, this drift in SP is inevitable, we just have to be patient. Everyone was making a big deal about the changes in employment contracts, that's done and I am sure staff levels will be up in a few months. People out there will be desperate for jobs at the moment. Costumer service will improve with more staff.
With all the money in the bank from the sale of assets and less running costs we will become more competitive. It will happen slowly and steadily.
I have been watching this for a few weeks and surprised to see these levels, thinking of selling up elsewhere and dipping in here. Can anyone direct me to the the RNS where the mine reduction is discussed and possible reopening etc .
Variants are going to keep popping up, that's life, we have to learn to live with the virus. That's the way it's going to be and it's about how long we get used to it and people get back on board buses
Love to see the divi back but I don't think that will happen until we get confirmation of energy demand being back to normal and seeing us swing into profit
We news about progress or have some positive news about profits increasing, otherwise the drift down is inevitable. Iets hope there is something upbeat in the next update.
I am happy that stay long and wait for a big change which is due.
We can only hope that the next update will be positive, I think as soon as we some normalcy returning to energy consumption we will see the dividend back and that should be announced in the next update.
No news about Spirit but were selling other stuff!!!
We are suffering here due to all the bad press reports, Nigeria, Netherlands case etc etc. Once we hit the 65 billion debt figure and there is a good increase in the dividend we are going to put all this in perspective. It will come later in the year, just hold on and add at these levels and you will be rewarded with a great dividend.
This share is going to suffer until we hit the 65 billion debt level, which is when there will be an increase in dividend and possible share buy backs. As analyst have said that could happen later in the year, until then we will continue to plod along.
Hi Aspers, I don't know what I would do if lost that kind of money. My total investments aren't worth that much!! I got into CNA at 55p average and hope I will be up soon enough, at the moment its my only share sitting on a loss. I have got money in travel stocks and oilers too. I am being patient with them all, including CNA which I think from these levels will give a decent return. You must believe it will go up too otherwise you would have taken all your money out.
Aspers: Your about the only one who has such a negative view about this stock. It is a definitely going up, it's just about when and whether we have the patience for it. The staff issues have been sorted and next it will be the Spirit sale, then the dividend will be back and profits will start rolling in. It's going to take time but it will all fall into place. This a great buying opportunity.
There is a lot of news that will come out during the rest of this year that will push this up closer to £1. We have to be patient and let the new CEO do his job. He is determined to make change happen and I am sure he will do his job. The demand of Electricity will increase now that the shops and businesses are back.
I am fairly new to this game. Does anyone have any experience of seeing a company split in two. What are the possible scenarios? Someone mentioned we could be asked to purchase more shares?
I have bought into GSK recently and am up 15% as of today, I am excited to see where we go from here.
Any ideas or insights would be much appreciated.
