Hey M Turner, et al. Give it a rest. None of your inane and childish sniping will bring us any closer to a satisfactory EUA conclusion. I suspect most on here are pretty fed up with it. Empty vessels make the most sound.
Slightly off topic - in the 80's I worked at Khartoum airport and outside our hangar was (is?) a large black rock on which the locals would crack open and cook eggs - at 6a.m! Didn't fancy it myself, although the participants recommended it and I figured 2000 flies couldn't be wrong....
Not true, marab. I'm off to Barcelona in September with BA. £115 return business class. I have their Executive club card and utilise Avios to get reductions. (Was Air Miles). Flew to Phoenix in April on a BA refurbished Boeing 777 and their new Business class layout is superb. Better than many other airlines' First class. You also get early seat choice with the loyalty card. I think they've upped their game considerably. I've been flying with them -and other airlines - since 1965.
PostmanPorsche : I doubt anyone here has ever owned, driven - or possibly seen, an AC Petite. Now THAT was a mighty courting car.... (Bet you're Googling it right now!). Don't get old, you won't like it.
Had a phone call earlier from a lady saying she was from EUA, wanting to know if I had details of the forthcoming AGM and had I read the resolutions. If so, how did I intend to vote. I replied 'Yes - by proxy via my broker/nominee account'. Anyone else had this? I don't remember being lobbied before....
