I had a similar scam 2 years ago. Lady said her company in New York wanted to cash in shares for my wife from a Trust Fund (that we'd sold whilst in Hong Kong!). She gave me the address of her office and I asked her what the weather was like there. 'Er - it's raining', she replied. I advised her that I was watching a live feed CCTV of Times Square and the sun was shining. The phone went dead. Turned out her 'Overseas' phone was in the U.K.
