Tiggerman...those jockeys riding in the National..they're usually,,,gulp...a bit 'short' aren't they?
Good luck with that Sir.Loyn. I believe that, by remarkable co-incidence, Costa calls out posters who are already on my filter list. I sometimes logout to see what the 'unfiltered' message board looks like and sure enough there they are, returning over and over again. (Sometimes, they come back with slightly different names as if we wouldn't see it hehe.) Avo landed here (and got filtered) many moons ago and surprise surprise pops back again today.
Costa, and others call them out for what they are; utter weasels.
Haha..I am doing football coaching again. I must 'somehow' witk those into a routine.
"Attacker tries to get round you? Throw in a plomb reverse shomb. Still coming at you? Call in the anti shomb defence system. Job done."
In the meantime, Paddy's scouting seems to be throwing some light on a new golden player. Let's hope. Nice one Paddy!
The Mush clan is faring well Tom as, I trust, are you. We are patiently waiting for this leviathon to emerge from the deep. A swiss cheese of infill drilling coupled with a great management team, both ours and at NCM. It's really only a matter of time......
I love that expression Kevin. Never heard it before but it fits.
Anyway, here we are..all sitting on a gold mine. Personally, I have put back all ideas of a market responding positively to the wealth under its nose. If we have to wait until the shiny nuggets reach the surface then well....let them eat sawdust! The horse will have bolted and time will have awaited no man. The early bird....oh enough.
Thanks MFU and sorry you couldn't make it. It was as pleasant as anticipated at Stroud and well organised by thedoors. I believe there is another scheduled for next month down at The Stag, being organised by the evergreen Tig.
As for this share price nonsense; it's certainly been an eyeopener to the shenanigans of the financial market. What utter nonsense. I try explaining it to the friends I encouraged to invest a couple of years ago but it is hard :
"You know the position GGP was at when you invested in 2020? Well they have done further drilling and found what we believe is millions of oz more gold, copper and possibly nickel than originally considered.. That's right. The precious metals that are doing so well at the moment. Now that's just at Havieron and there is a bunch of other licences yet to be proven up. Ok, so your original question was why has the share price gone down 60%? Right..well..umm..you see there are some nasty people and............."
MFU...I think you were still typing your post as Hydro posted his! One answer anyway.
Next time then plp (titter) and lebugue, one can only react to what is known. What did Clouseau say? " I believe everything and I believe nothing. I suspect everyone and I suspect no one."
Anyway, the sp is holding up so all is well. Come on GGP!
Many thanks thedoors for organising this and it was a very upbeat and enjoyable evening. My overriding memory is watching Jerryspaniel and Bamps pouring over images of Havieron on their phones like two kids in a playground swapping Power Rangers cards. "Got it. Got it. Haven't. Yeah Got it". Haha great stuff.
Should be a boisterous evening ipad! Thanks for the good wishes. I went and had a kip at 15.4p and awoke at 16.9p. I must sleep for longer in the future.
This is like the good old days. Come on GGP!!!
There is no doubt that the effect on the home energy market is going to be considerable. (Bamps..dunno then!) Sandgrounded..good luck. Some switching sites I visited recently are refusing to quote for new deals. If I had any spare cash I'd invest in the thick woolly jumpers market.
Be careful regarding what people announce as a price rise. I worked in the energy industry for several years and looked at loads of bills. If a customer has been underpaying then her direct debit will increase no matter what scheme she moves to. Household energy prices are set to increase by around 50%. Not good obviously but if your neighbour had been paying £60 per month, Bamps, as a genuine reflection of usage, then her new direct debit would be around £90. I strongly suspect there is an element of 'catch up' in the new £199 monthly payment she is being asked to set up. i.e she has been underpaying for a while.
No they don't John. As odd as it may seem arbitration, if used, can pick a number that NCM can refuse but GGP cannot.
You beat me DGR. haha
JP Morgan? I wouldn't put anything past them. As Ripley said in Aliens: "You know, JPM, I don't know which species is worse. You don't see the Aliens ****ing each other over for a goddamn percentage." Ok not the exact quote but it fits. :)
Haha...very good Mark and I am quite familiar with Holmfirth. Every other shop there claims to have some connection with the series: Compo's Tea Room, Chip Shop, Dry Cleaners.. well...maybe.
Anyway, the lean times are coming to an end and I may yet be ordering a GGP T shirt with the slogan, 'The best is yet to come!' Too late for the March meeting maybe but definitely for the Stag do. :)
I'm looking forward to meeting the GGP Stroud squad. Yellowstuff and I have already discussed our plans for the future drilling campaign over a coffee when the SP hit 20p (on the way up!). Ah yes....I remember 20p...sigh. However, that was then and this is now. We've dug in and await the new surge. Since those heady days of floating in the sky, "Ooh look there's a cloud thats shaped like 38p! Look! Look!" , we have drifted back down to the earth.
You will recognise Lady Mush and me at the Stroud do. We will be wearing Compo hats adorned with 13.8p labels.
I noticed that but considered it too ungracious to mention it.
However, it spurred me on to watch our hero being interviewed again today. He really is becoming very assured in these interviews. Great stuff!
I love those 3D models. The usual pictorial summaries of our progress to date make my brain hurt. They look like a combination of noughts and crosses set across an explosion in a paint factory. The 3D models, on the other hand, are like those videos you see of exquisite ancient gold artefacts which, of course, it is. :)
