Looks like a worked buy to me. Why else would we have flown out of the blocks this morning? Bodes well for tomorrow. The cat is out of the bag now. Another big buyer about.
Yes noticed that too riddler. I think CLNs will be churned by Monday or Tuesday at the latest. Then I’m expecting our first piece of news immediately after that, maybe Wednesday/Thursday. Sefton will have this planned and well orchestrated. He may pump at times but he generally keeps the news flowing in my experience
I’m in at 8p, Babbler are you ready to share what the company said to you? It would be great if an update was coming this coming week but I haven’t seen anything previously from the company to support this- but would be very happy to be wrong on this
Well this was an absolute shocker today, lost a massive amount personallly BUT still holding. Just been reading back through Revive 1 and 2 results. No mention whatsoever about liver concerns. From Revive 1 “No significant differences were seen between treatment groups in mean values or mean changes in other routine serum laboratory parameters, urinalysis results, vital signs or physical examinations during treatment.” So, that to me means, no significant changes in LFTs(liver function tests), nor physical examination of the patient, so no liver pathology/toxicity.
This does really me make me wonder if this is just a massive cock-up by the company in not providing the sufficient data on LFTs during the trial( which they should now easily be able to provide to the FDA as these were clearly obtained during the trial). Or possibly there has been very minor rises in liver enzymes that are not clinically significant and they are trying to get a “clean label” and not have this in the drug information pack, when in reality many drugs can not be used or should be used “with caution” in patients with liver disease, so this is not a barrier to the licensing of a drug.
If this has been the case this will gradually( or not so gradually!) re-gain the losses in SP, so might not get back to 40p before next FDA decision but could easily get up to 25-30p with a bit more clarity from the company! All IMHO, not advice, just informed speculation-. DYOR
Fair bit riding on this now, so bum is definitely squeaking!! I’m optimistic though, obviously, or I wouldn’t have put my hard-earned on the line. What’s people’s views on timing of RNS? Wednesday morning, or could it be more likely Thursday morning with the company getting the decision after close? Hopefully not the latter as we will likely see a big drop on Wednesday morning if that’s the case. GLA

News is the thing that will move this obviously but the chart does look good now. Wish I had more funds to top up to my already overweight position
Ok, I see your point China. I suppose it’s open to interpretation. I for one wouldn’t be surprised to see some news(perhaps pilot plant news) before the AGM. Even if this doesn’t come, the chart looks better now and would appear to be ready for the next leg up. Copper also looking perkier, all shaping up nicely.
China, have we been told that we won’t be getting further periodic drill updates? Happy to be corrected, maybe I’ve missed something. The tweet from the company on 19th October said “More core samples but from site this time. These pics are from a drillhole drilled to West of Kalaba. Chalcopyrite mineralisation is visible to the eye & highly encouraging. Must see how the labs are getting on with our other RC & DD results.”
Riz you’re of course right to think of the potential negatives. With regard Sturec, this has clearly been declared as a non-core asset and as such I certainly won’t lose any sleep over the sale price or even the unlikely scenario of no sale at all(even at a discount). ARCM is all about Zamort and Casa. We have interested parties in Casa and I take a lot of confidence from the fact that one of the directors working on Casa has taken options at a premium to the current SP in lieu of salary. The recent announcements regarding Zamsort are even more encouraging, with the mention of interested JV partners, the surprise of the aerial surveying and NvS putting more skin in the game on the open market. Yes the mining tax is out of our control but the Zambian government will know the investment and jobs that come with these potentially huge projects and they will want Zamsort to succeed.
Quiet BB, quiet twitter. SP has pulled back a fair bit. Perfect time to buy IMHO...Just like the directors are doing right now! Currently searching under the sofa for any further funds to put in here! Previously unplanned aerial survey another fairly big signal for me that they are preparing for JV/outright sale. All IMHO. Share price is MM games. Seen it several times before. Price drops initially after clearly great news and then rises within a week or so. Don’t be shaken out! I agree with Coppermans figures. Worst case scenario looks like 400000t Cu equivalent. At prices of $6000 per tonne Cu =$2400000000. We own 66% so our share = $1600000000. And if the true resource rises to somewhere near 1Mt contained Cu equivalent then we really are laughing. Very good news yesterday, don’t be fooled
I’m not too concerned on the macroeconomic situation in Zambia. More interested in our “Shock and Awe” drill results! What’s everyone’s SP prediction on results? Mine is 9-10p on confirmation of 16 MTonnes. But will be multiples of this, if, as I hope(and John Meyer shares this hope), that Kalaba is a lot bigger than this initial target
No need to be twitchy baraba. The question of funding is valid but I think that’s at least a few months away and if the imminent results are anywhere near what we are all expecting(including Don Bailey), then it’ll be at a premium to today’s SP. If the small scale plant is up and running in a couple of months time, as expected, then there may be very little funding required(if any at all!) IMHO GLA
