With my calculations I own 0.35% of rms with 7 million shares so I suppose it wouldn’t take much to get enough votes if there were enough holders out there holding similar amounts

The only problem would be that if the placing purchasers already own shares before the placing then the % would be higher on there side and would be more against us

Manifesto, that is good then so long as approx 25% of the share holders or more vote against it as I’m guessing the placings hold about that

No I dont believe they were told about the vote as there wasn’t a vote on the agenda back then , the meeting and the vote decision came after when all share holders kicked off and cave had a discussion with the board

Manifesto, the car buying thing was an example, my point was if you was sold something and was told you was getting something else in the deal then surely that’s the terms of the agreement

I do hope the warrants get squashed but if you went out and was persuaded to by a new car and the dealer said we will Chuck 3 years warranty in , then after you bought the car the dealer said all the other branches have voted against the warranty so your not having it, would this even be allowed. Elir71 , they have around a million at a guess and I’m guessing most of that will be used to fund the rest of the exploration and get you to a point upto the start of mining, obviously more money will be needed to start this. Even if they only do a placing to raise 2 million it doesn’t always divide the market cap equally by the amount diluted , usually people panic and it drops more than it should , this is why on good results I would sell if I had shares in alba before money is raised further to mine the gold and crash the sp. then after money is raised and sp has dropped at the end of the year buy back in

Can’t you read bishop basher , who said anything about the gold being recovered from Wales would not fund other projects ? I said if the gold is there then alba will need funds to mine it , the funds are not there so money will need to be raised

My medium term meaning is say March 2021 to November 2021 . If gold is there alba need all planning permission in place to start mining , this is not going to happen over night . If I was to invest it would be very high risk as i wouldn’t be investing just 200 quid, and if the results turn out good I would sell and come back towards the end of the year

The reality here is potential short term gain and very long term gain , why I say this is the results of the amount of gold is a 50/50 chance of being good or bad , if bad the price will drop significantly as other projects such as Greenland are suspended for at least a year and they have nothing else really of significance. If the results are good then the sp could reach 1p maybe 2 at a push. Then what? Alba have no money to start mining the gold , more placings will occur on a large scale to raise the funds needed which will bring the sp down to 0.50 area agin and then it will take time to get the gold out and start selling it . So realistically a very short term holding could pay off if results are good , if bad then it’s either cut your losses or wait A few years to see if Greenland pays off. Medium term is a no no for me because like I said if results are good and the sp rises it will come back down again with all the placings to raise funds to mine the gold. Very long term could make you a profit if the results are good and the mining has commenced and also good results from Greenland . This is why the sp is only we’re it is at because the risk is high if gold results are poor as it will be a very long term investment to get your money back . And as for the warrants being exercised, Monday would have been a good entry point for me as the sp will drop below 0.40 but my purchase would have shoved it back up again . So hay ho good luck all

You will get a smaller buy quote on a small amount of money , same as you get a higher sell quote on a small amount of money , I did a quote earlier to sell my rms shares , for £1 worth the quote was 3.08p and to sell £210,000 worth the quote was 2.998p. It all depends on the value of buy and sell with the price you get and big investments always pay a lot higher price and a lot lower price to sell. That’s why it’s best to invest in smaller spread company’s on large amounts of money , alba is not appealing right now as I do want to buy 10 million

HL .442 to buy with £47k worth , don’t hold any to get Quote to sell but it will be less than you got quoted on this amount

Did you quote to buy 100 grands worth and sell 100 grands worth

Imagine an investor pumping 100 grand in and then 5 seconds later he’s lost over 7 grand

It is, buys are going through at .44 and sells at .41 , it’s over a 7% spread

There not encouraging investors are they with a 7% spread

Barryc999, I very small proportion of investors know about Gareth’s interview earlier . Most don’t use these boards , when an official rns is published the other investors see this plus there is investment companies and big pi’s out there that scan rn’s daily to try and get in potential profit making company’s early such as this. An rns is inevitable but wether it arrives tomorrow or next week we’re onto a winner here
