Needless to say such a peace declaration will simply send this SP to the moon In that scenario its a win win all round No fan of Putin but its only his intervention (for his own agenda of course) that is bringing the people that make decisions around the table. Asfari is way ahead of the curve, he knows whats coming thus his 10% holding - he could double / treble his stake this week alone.

Why would Mr Asfari (who is Syrian born and bred) decide now to take up a 10% stake in this company??? I think it's a fair assessment to say that he has a good inside track in to the mess that is Syria currently - and he would have a good idea of the potential for a deal for lasting peace to be announced ?? If and when this happens - and its inevitable imo normal business will be resumed in that bombed out nation.

we all know this evil war has been about oil and gas and pipelines peace is inevitable as russia and the usa will thrash out a peace settlement assads hand will be determined by putin

well this taking a 10% stake recently is very big news as we all know and we all know that if peace is established this companys SP will go nuts have gulfsand still got all their interests in Syria? ie they still have the same interest? ie their assets in syria are all still there???? I realise they stopped doing business due to the sanctions etc but they still ahve all the assets right?

god knows syria needs peace! 5 yrs of hell for those poor people
