SIGNING OF THE MAJOR TRANSACTION WITH FAIRMONT HOTELS & RESORTS MOSCOW, RUSSIA - October 21, 2011 - HALS-Development (LSE, MICEX, RTS: HALS), a major Russian real estate company, announces that on October 19, 2011 it's Subsidary - JSC «Hotel «Peking» has signed the major transaction with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts (owned by FRHI Holdings Limited, a leading global hotel company with over 100 hotels under the Fairmont, Raffles, and Swissôtel brands) in the amount of RUR 650 658 516, including: 1) Trademark sub-license agreement for Fairmont Pekin, Moscow, whereby Sub-Licensor grants to Sub-Licensee (JSC «Hotel «Peking») and Sub-Licensee accepts a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-assignable and not further-sublicensable right and (sub-) license to use the Trademarks: FAIRMONT Stylized, WILLOW STREAM, FAIRMONT, solely in connection with the exploitation of the Hotel Peking and solely during the validity period of the Trademarks and in the Licensed Territory (Russia). 2) Hotel management agreement for Fairmont Pekin, Moscow, whereby Owner (JSC «Hotel «Peking») engages Operator as the exclusive operator and managing agent of the Hotel Peking during the Operating Term and Operator hereby accepts such engagement. Subject only to the provisions of this Agreement Operator shall have exclusive control, discretion and authority with respect to, and be responsible for, the Operation of the Hotel. Contract validity period - the date following completion of the project, upon which the Hotel opens for business to the general public, which shall be a date mutually determined by the Parties, and ending on December 31 of the twenty-fifth complete calendar year. 3) Centralised services agreement for Fairmont Pekin, Moscow, whereby the Services Provider (1) provides Owner (JSC «Hotel «Peking») with Centralised Services (services which are (i) mandatory for substantially all of the Operator Hotels, and (ii) additional or optional, but which Owner each year approves for the Hotel), (2) provides Owner with access to the Global Reservations System, (3) reviews and approves all Capital Improvements, (4) directs Hotel Purchases. Contract validity period - the date following completion of the project, upon which the Hotel opens for business to the general public, which shall be a date mutually determined by the Parties, and ending on December 31 of the twenty-fifth complete calendar year. 4) Technical services agreement for Fairmont Pekin, Moscow, whereby Consultant shall from outside of the Jurisdiction provide Technical Services to Owner (JSC «Hotel «Peking») and Owner shall pay Consultant for the Technical Services. Financial position Net debt at £424 million has increased by £167 million in the three months to 30 September 2011, mainly as a result of the return of capital to shareholders of £148 million that took place in July 2011. Outlook Although the prospects for the global economy remain uncertain, the strength of our recent trading performance, and our view of the prospects for the fourth quarter, mean that we now believe that pre tax profits for the year will be at least £320 million. This represents underlying growth in profits for the year of over 24%. Strong performance in the third quarter; outlook for the year increased Aggreko plc, the world leader in the supply of temporary power and temperature control, is today issuing its Interim Management Statement covering the period from 1 July 2011 to date. Trading Aggreko has delivered a strong performance in the third quarter. On an underlying basis (in constant currency and excluding the one-off impact of the FIFA World Cup as well as pass-through fuel), revenue grew by 22%. Headline revenue increased by 13%. Revenue in our International Power Projects business in constant currency and excluding pass-through fuel grew by 26% in the third quarter. Headline revenue increased by 20%. Order intake in the year to date has been 944MW with 210MW added in the quarter, including an additional 60MW in Kenya and 47MW in Brazil. Capacity on hire at the end of the quarter was 21% ahead of the prior year. Good progress has been made resolving the three overdue debtors highlighted at the time of the interims and, as a result, there has been a partial write back of the provisions taken in the first half and we now expect that the trading margin in IPP for the year as a whole will be a little higher than the prior year. In the Local business, underlying revenue (in constant currency and excluding the one-off impact of the FIFA World Cup) grew by 20% in the third quarter. Headline revenue increased by 8%. Revenue in North America grew by 10%, and in Europe & Middle East by 20%; the Middle East business has recovered strongly and we have recently signed our first sizeable contract with an industrial company in Iraq, which we see as being an important market in the future. On an underlying basis revenue in Aggreko International's Local business grew 41%, while on a headline basis revenue was down 8% reflecting the impact of the FIFA World Cup in the prior year. We expect underlying trading margin in the Local business for the year as a whole to be similar to the prior year.

News at Uranium Resources (URA), from the Mtonya drilling programme in southern Tanzania was of significant intercepts of uranium, confirming the existence of multiple uranium roll-fronts at depths up to 265 metres. The highest concentration was from the DH 015 hole, which encountered 1,897 parts per million of uranium at 39 metres. The company has now completed 4,580 metres of its 6.850 metre drilling programme, which equates to 15 holes, with these results covering the first seven of these.

Commenting on the results, CEO Greg Hawkins said: "We are reporting a strong operational performance which combined with a high gold price has delivered excellent financial results in the quarter and cash margins in excess of $1,000 per ounce. This has led to EBITDA of $184 million and record net profit of $102 million. We expect to be within our existing production guidance for the full year, although due to industry-wide cost pressures we have increased our cash cost guidance to $675-700 per ounce sold."

Inkjet printhead company Xaar (XAR) saw a upgrade from Seymour Pierce from "hold" to "buy" after issuing a positive trading statement in which third quarter 2011 sales of the latest Platform 3 products grew ahead of expectations, with trends expected to continue into the fourth. The group's capacity expansion programme is also progressing faster than the broker had anticipated, with P3 products no longer constrained by output capacity. Seymour Pierce holds a 295p price target for the company. The shares rose 19.5p to 243p.

Credit Suisse downgrades Mondi from neutral to underperform, target price cut from 670p to 535p.

Booker non-exec shops for shares A non-executive director of FTSE 250-listed Booker, a cash and carry firm, has bought £39,315 worth of shares in his first purchase. Stewart Gilliland bought 50,000 shares at 78.63p each, having previously had none, just one week after the firm announced a 22% rise in its pre-tax interim profits. 54-year-old Gilliland joined the board at the end of last year having recently retired as chief executive of Muller Dairies UK and Ireland.
