Backscratcher.....did you complain? I have done so but Halifax state that due to volumes the persons working could not deal within normal times. Also the 4100 shre deal could not be carried out automatically and was handed over to one of thier dealers and was dealt with as a negotiated trade. They say the stop loss kicked in and it took 20 mins for the deal to go through hence instead of 126 I got 120.25. I s this the morm. Surely they should have adequate staff to deal with such trades quickly and fairly. Am I moaning about something that happens all the time. Is there any recourse?...I have threatened them with taking my current account elsewhere and writing to the Financial Ombudsman but I dare say it wont make much difference.

I get the impression this is just waiting to head up sharply..... just need the sector, indeed market, confidence back. Its one of my favourites and I am long on this.
