I stick to my theory that I posted earlier: they knew the sp was going to take some sort of hit with this RNS, so they released it first because they know the results are good and the sp will recover upon their publication.

Trying to think what I would do in this situation. I would probably releaase this RNS first, let the sp drop, then release some good results, to claw back some of the loss. But if they don't have good results then I really will despair.
