But not sure if that will be VERY soon as Osaka suggests - one of the tenements took 3 months to go from status 'Atribuicao Pendente' (pending assignment) to status 'Em Vigor' (in force) and I believe this needs to happen with the final tenement which attained status 'Atribuicao Pendente' only last week. Not to say this last one will take as long as 3 months of course, but neither can we assume it will be very soon.

This share has been such a disappointment. Can't really see any rise on the horizon. It is now 3 weeks since DA told us the Oman licences were on the way and only needed a £50k payment. Nothing he says ever seems to happen, and when combined with the global downer on lithium we have dropped below 3p to sell. We must now be getting lowish on cash (last raise nearly 14 months ago) so perhaps we will need another placing soon ? If so God knows what price that will be at.

Yes I wondered that CM. We dropped through 4p and maybe DA thought he'd better get something out rather than maybe waiting until the licences had actually been granted. Just speculation really.

Kiwi - how do you know that ? I have no idea how much of our fund raise from over a year ago is still left ?

A good RNS, if only to show Oman is apparently not a total corpse yet. Of course 'intending' to issue licences is not the same as actually issuing them. One presumes they have always 'intended' to issue licences else why open up their mining industry in the first place ? The RNS states the licences will be issued 'once new licensing fees have been set under the new Mining Law' ? The new Mining Law has been in force for 5 months now. It might have been a good idea to decide on the fees before it came into force ?
Anyway I have been moaning about lack of information from Oman for months now so I am not going to diss this RNS but it will be the next RNS, stating the licences have actually been issued, when I will wet myself. Will it be this month/year/decade ? - the saga continues ....
PS - it mentions 2 licences - did we apply for just 2 or more than 2 ?

What would change things would be news from Moz, which is now rapidly catching up with with Oman to become a zombie project no longer referred to.
