Is Vodafone going to bust? The market has sold this off like they believe it is which is frankly nonsense.

Vodafone only floated in 1994 at around 60p. Are the so called experts saying the company 30 years later is worth the same as it was back then?

Did Etisalat not say they would be increasing their stake to 25%? What are they waiting for...

I actually sold half my holding last week around 17p. Wise in hindsight.

I knew something was not right and suspected that bad news had been covered up. Why was the SP collapsing with an all time high ZAR gold price?

My earlier points have been proven correct - those privileged shareholders who had been selling 2 weeks ago around 19-20p like Allan Gray clearly had inside knowledge IMO.

Why did the company take TWO WEEKS to release this RNS 'kitchen sink'....I really think the FCA needs to send them a warning (they won't) - sitting on lots of bad news and release it all in one go? When was the fatality for example? When did they learn of the production cut?

Institutions sold this down from the recent peak of 20p because they already knew IMO.

Let this be yet another example of this.

Also the insiders know....lets leave it at that...

Don't be surprised if bad news comes out in coming days or a profit warning, bus driver strike etc etc.

P/E revised to around 6 which is still very low. Debt is down also.

Sorry but it looks like no one wants anything to do with SA anymore. Fundamentals no longer matter. P/E's of 3 or 4 do not matter on the FTSE. All about the chart and short sellers. Sad.

Do not try to justify everything poker. You have always had a bad habit of doing this.

I have posted this before but VOD's debt to equity is around 1.4 & improving while VZ/AT&T/TEF are around 3. As I said before there is a hedge fund not showing on short tracker - probably registered in the Cayman Islands - that has been relentlessly shorting this for a while now.

As we all know in the UK stock market a hedge fund opening a short position = an automatic drop and suppression of any rise regardless of news.

FCA do **** all. Go figure what they are even here for.

Charts and trends are all important in the market today. Fundamentals have gone out of the window. Examples include crypto, Peloton, Beyond Meat, Teladoc which all soared to insane levels on nothing and now look. Most of the above were loss making.

FRES is below the 200 day MA. Not good.
