The Ministry of Finance and Economy in the Kurdistan Regional Government announces it has signed a contract to receive 250 billion Iraqi dinars with Rafidain Bank.

According to a statement from the ministry, the ministry signed a contract on Sunday to receive 250 billion Iraqi dinars as a loan through Rafidain Bank. It was noted that they are anticipating the arrival of the amount soon into the ministry's bank account at the Erbil branch of the Central Bank of Iraq.

The Federal Ministry of Finance announced on Sunday that it has initiated a loan worth 700 billion Iraqi dinars to finance the salaries of employees in the Kurdistan Region.

Some of that 700 billion can be used to pay the IOCs monies owed, surely...

FTSE AIM yes but due to being also listed on another recognised stock exchange - Johannesburg - stamp duty 0.5% is paid but also has inheritance tax advantages due to AIM status.

Selpec PAF is a FTSE small cap, not AIM.

The market is extremely fickle and stupid. Has its favourites. At current gold prices this is actually worth 3x the current SP.

8x earnings = 36p+

There seem to be a few short term traders keeping this back, selling on the slightest uptick.

If they feel a P/E of 3 is justified here so be it.

Interims are not far off though and this will re-rate to the more sensible level of 8-10x P/E in time.

Some price targets have been mentioned.

Reminder that 20p leaves PAF trading at just 4x earnings.

26p was hit in 2020; even here the P/E would be barely 6x.

A more reasonable 8x earnings = 36p-40p
