callerone the short selling hedge funds are a huge problem. Trash a share until it's on its knees. Then change position to a long and start buying! Benefit both ways and that is what happened at 935p today It's how these big banks make money folks. Trouble for PI's is no inside contacts, no crystal ball, no endless pot of money to average down. Blatantly obvious that the RNS was leaked well in advance and explains the collapse at Vectura also. Insider trading is rife. Make no mistake. FCA may as well not exist. I called the Spire takeover recently on my own but funny how the SP had already risen from 220p to 265p before the weekend news piece about a bid. Lots of buys started flooding in. How did the reporter hear of an imminent bid? 'City contacts' Hacking, so called city 'contacts', broker 'forecasts', Chinese whispers - all part of the rogue BS market. None of them have a crystal ball!

Sorry but what NEW NEWS did we have today that warranted a 10% drop? Any excuse to trash an SP eh shorters? The FDA have not said no and for God's sake it is just one inhaler!!

If Ornskov, the CFO and the board have been lying and cooking up figures re: results and EPS as some here have suggested then this would be a federal crime surely and they all deserve to be in jail?

What has been proved once again is how todays market is a shorters market. Toy with the SP as you please. Drop it by a whole pound on a 1% reduction in revenue forecast. Drop it to 935p so day traders can pile in. Hikma is clearly a mining company in disguise, is riddled with debt, trades on a P/E of 80 like BTG, Abcam + others and is about to go bust.

So Hikma's revenue and profits will most likely be flat on last year. It was trading as high as 2300p 6 months ago. The market believes flat earnings and profits justify a 60% fall in share price. Good luck if invested in a 'growth' stock e.g. BTG, Abcam.

Ask to speak directly with Ornskov CEO. His email is fornskov@shire.com You have almost half a million invested here. I would ask about finalisation of spin off plans, lack of director buys, share awards, addressing market concerns better, manipulation of the stock price etc.

The revenue of $600M is the same as 2016 though! They are not technically losing any revenue compared to 2016 yet the SP is down from 2600p to 950p! As for Advair generic again it is just ONE inhaler and a product they never had in the first place!

There is no doubt in my mind that once again insider trading has gone on here with a likely leak of the trading statement days in advance which explained the plummet of 15% this past week. Vectura has also been hammered this past week for the same reason.

Nothing in there to justify the 15% drop this past week. Revenue guidance still around $2Bn which is the same as last year. The shorters must have had inside knowledge re: FDA update. Hope some of you do call IR today and feedback. With the statement out no reason why directors should not be buying.

GSK Shareholder equity - all intangibles/goodwill = -$26Bn ASTRAZENECA Shareholder equity - all intangibles/goodwill = -$22Bn SHIRE Shareholder equity - all intangibles/goodwill = -$21.7Bn So better than GSK and Astra + that figure will be down by another $1Bn come January. Debt concerns massively overblown.

Sorry but your debt calculations are all wrong. Shire has a debt:equity ratio of 1.07 Current debt:EBITDA 1.85x This is far better than its peers. GSK has a horrendous debt:equity ratio of 10.9 GSK current debt:EBITDA is 7.3x In just 9 months this year Shire's debt is DOWN by $3.3Bn; that's almost 10% of total debt and equates to >$1Bn reduction every quarter. I would re-check your figures.
