Poles and Baltics coordinating everything. A bit of overreaction probably. Mazeikiai refinery in Lithuania owned by Polish Orlen already got rid of all Russian oil. Lithuanian LNG terminal soon will be able to supply gas to Poland once Baltic pipe is finished . It is not some major LNG terminal but it has spare capacity. Imo ruskies just trying to make it look like they are in charge of situation, but our countries already said they are getting rid of all O&G from Russia. On a positive note, some west countries might panic about it and speedup their independence from ruskies.

Imo he got big interest in securing these resources, because democratic Ukraine is a major threat for his mafia regime. Ukraine got 2nd biggest gas reserves in Europe after Russia. Can't bribe western governments if they are independend from Russia's gas. It is as a very important war for both sides and it is has nothing to do with russian minorities. Putin wouldn't send russian kids in to a meat grinder just to protect few people. Eventually some sort agreement will have to be reached, because there is no way to occupy a 44m population country when they hate you so much

I was under russia occupation, i stood as a child holding hands with 2 other baltic countries for independence
