I appreciate that but i have seen it before on news flow that sp rises and a large seller pulls the sp down what we really need is orders and even then it will need a hell of a lot of buys to offset all of ra shares of he wants to offload them

Don't you just love predictive text .lets hope ab isn't trying to offload all his holding as it will keep dragging the sp back down on good news

Now this is what i was talking about last week how the sp is manipulated upwards drawing pi in like sheep and spiking them while a major holder offloads and sells are displayed as buys typical what happens on aim .stops the sp collapsing i suppose but i have been caught oug like this in the past see a rising sp and piling in only for it to be pulled back diwn

Lithium mining, needed to build the lithium ion batteries at the heart of today's EVs, has also been connected to other kinds of environmental harm. There have been mass fish kills related to lithium mining in Tibet, for example. The freshwater supply is being consumed by mines in South America's lithium-rich region. Even in North America, where mining regulations are strict, harsh chemicals are used to extract the valuable metal.

And all the operations are energy intensive, sometimes running on diesel generators and relying on carbon-emitting heavy machinery.

Adding to the cumulative effects on the environment, lithium demand is expected to at least triple by 2025, pushing more exploration and extraction globally.

Environmental Resources Management (ERM) has received £3.12m to develop its Dolphyn project which focuses on the production of green hydrogen from floating, offshore wind turbines.

The first of its kind project, featuring a 400 turbine ‘farm’, is believed to have a capacity of 4GW, enough to sufficiently heat more than 1.5 million UK homes with no carbon emissions.

With phase one of the project complete, the new capital will allow ERM to begin phase two which will undertake detailed engineering and consents, with a view to make a final investment decision on a 2MW prototype facility by March 2021.

“Hydrogen offers the opportunity of a cleaner, greener fuel for heating our homes and getting us from A to B,” said Kwasi Kwarteng, Minister for Business, Energy and Clean Growth.

“The innovative ERM Dolphyn project is a clear step in that direction – particularly in this year of climate action.”

The development plan for the project has a target date for the operational start-up of the 2MW prototype facility by summer 2024.

A 100MW full scale pre-commercial facility is planned to follow by 2026, with full scale commercialisation shortly afterwards.

Tim Strawn, Regional CEO at ERM, commented, “ERM’s Dolphyn project provides a significant opportunity to progress towards a carbon neutral society.”

“The UK government’s support on this project has accelerated our ability to demonstrate that zero carbon gas can be generated commercially at large scale for use across the UK.”
