Hi, I had the same thing happen to me in reverse I bought TUI shares and they didn’t show so it allowed me to buy them again. The price went up so I sold them and made over £300, result
You can’t buy more RI. You can sell them if you like or apply to receive your rights, HL won’t take any money yet you just have to have a £1 per share in your account. I think you are clicking on the wrong option
Aspers. Yes I will admit I did the same, but this one doesn’t seem to be behaving the same, different times I think, there wasn’t a lot of good new around at that time.
Masaimara. Not on HL your broker is different I’ve checked more than once it states if you don’t take up the RI to buy or sell them they will try to sell them on the 20 jan, and any proceeds added to your account, doesn’t matter to me I’ve bought them
As it’s been pointed out before it’s not true that you receive nothing if you don’t take up the rights, it clearly states on H.L that they will try and sell your rights on the 20th if you do nothing and give you the proceeds.
RE: deadline for buying shares to qualify right issue?8 Jan 2021 15:09
X rights dates and record dates are 2 different things. Today TUI are xrights so anyone buying today buys without the rights it’s the same rules as xdividend
