Thanks for your info! the chap I speak to seems overly friendly to me and he always phones on a withheld number and keeps saying that he will send me various emails of information.......these never arrive!! My understanding is that you purchase the shares through them some how and then they take 5% of the NET profit made, so if you buy for £2,000 and sell at £5,000 then they take 5% of the £3,000 increase as their commission.
To be honest, the overall saving on the few pence they give you off the SP purchase price and the 5% end commission, is not enough of an advantage to go through such a company and whilst I value their information, they have not backed this up with any written reports or anything of substance, so I will be doing similar to yourself and just keeping a keen eye on all of these oil stocks and will decide myself when it is time to take the plunge.
Definitely looking good though for ROC, it is just a shame that there is not a bit more activity on this section of the forum giving further views and ideas as I generally value other people's a lot, being a bit of a newbie at this share dealing lark.
