Exactly. Bashing is fine, even if it’s to the point of wrecking the board. But pointing out a fact that’s totally relevant to Avacta (a firm shorting us is a god awful investment firm) is somehow taboo?

So….. if you post something about a firm that was previously (or currently, as there seems to be some confusing info out there, or they may be below 0.5%) shorting Avacta, it gets deleted? So pointing out a firm who gets it hideously wrong (It’s Jupiter incase anyone doesn’t know) again and again we’re shorting us, creating all manner of bashing and pandemonium, it isn’t seen as tolerable material LSE? Really? Must have mates there.

Thompi. The thing is you have certain posters who post FUD based on their trade. We call them out. You then have our and our Rampers like Wres who get shot down. You then have bashers…. Like Wres…. Who get shot down. You’ve then got liars, who have meetings in McDonald’s and claim to have inside info who get shot down. There’s then balanced semi rampers like RAH who actually post really great info. Then there’s the bullies as we’ve been labelled calling everyone out. The thing is the ones we’re calling out get offended when we point out that what they’re saying is complete crap or over the top. And yes some of us like me and PL do take the **** quite heavily out of them but if you don’t call out the crap then the people who want this board for genuine research will be swamped with a majority of mega ramping and a dose of FUD. But that is literally how life is. If I were to stand on a street corner in a sandwich board on asking people to buy my potion, it’ll make your Willy twice as long and your teeth 10 times as white and took money of people for it, id get done for fraud. To be fair to us all if we stood back or joined in the ramping we could probably make a few bob out of joining in the pump and dump (as happened last week up over 120). But we don’t.

Investors have egos. You have to believe you’re correct to make an investment or end one. You stick however many people in that telegram group and you’ll find that before long disagreements will begin. And if it ends up just being blue sky ramping then what’s the point? The likes of myself, Timster, Bein, PL, Rorkers etc have pointed out the negatives. Without the balanced opinions then it’s just a lot of echo chamber ****e.

Diamondlegs. All things so far Point to good news. But as you say there’s always a risk. But what is failure? It would have to not achieve many objectives; it would have to be no safer than standard Dox, which we already know it is at 160mg DE. It would have to produce the same or worse side effects which we already know it doesn’t, also due to the above. So scratch both of those off. It would then have to have no therapeutic benefit meaning it wouldn’t activate in the tumour. If it didn’t activate in the tumour it would be unethical to continue in the trial so you can tentatively assume it does. But this is an unknown until confirmed by Avacta. If the tolerability and effectiveness at reducing tumour size is in any way improved over standard Dox then it’s a success. If it’s better than standard Dox in multiples then it blows the doors off.
But…. If it doesn’t improve effectiveness and tolerability then it’s pointless. If it doesn’t activate at all then it won’t drop by 50%, it’ll drop by 90%. It’ll be a disaster. It’s as simple as that. But you can tentatively assume at a year into the study and at DE2 (higher than standard dosing) that ethically it must be working to some degree. So the risk of that kind of crash is low. What we’re waiting to find out how good it is (and does it activate) and if it’s enough to displace standard Dox.
