most oil companies do make a loss or heavy dilute for a few years , at least TLW has a good hedge and in a reasonable position now

Dave , barrel of fracking oil is break even around $50 , we have about $15 dollars to make up before they want to start that up again . at $45 dollars a barrel TLW is doing ok from $35 a barrel break even .

HMM / yes AIM is a wild one but I had a couple of grand in a audio company and was happy to get out but the SP wasn`t doing much then a poster about 10am put a link up from a bit of news that the company had won a medium size contract , (before the company released an RNS ) the share price booomed from folk just reading the link on the bb , the link should never of happened but hey i was lucky to hop out with a good profit . mid day the company put the RNS out lol .

HMM/ also just to point out a lot of pi`s have their SIPP`s ISA`s in shares , but you have just got to add up some of the pi`s holdings , many have 250,000 plus even in TLW , that soon adds up .

HMM / Yes there are a couple of ways in looking at it on posting , derampers are not targeting people on the bb , look there is how many post on the TLW bb 50 tops , but i tell you there is another 1000 plus could be 5000 who will read back and watch these bb`s no posting , you take a share like SXX they had 80,000 pi`s ,

Deeds / You will find that ordinary investors will use these bb`s like you would hope but there is also a dark side and where money is concerned these bb`s become very powerful , infact more people who invest or day trade use these bb`s , sometimes you can get a group of derampers (they could even be in the same office ) try and get other pi`s to sell to help bring the price down so they can get in cheap as possible, and that can happen and a lot of companies are watching these bb`s , you get a few very clued up posters they can be very damaging to a company and the way they post in their favour , when a share is in a bear market it is very easy to deramp , some may say what about the rampers , most are investors who have a strong interest in the company and will of course be positive on their investment .

thats the thing about timing , look at the tick ups he has got , either non holders who we know who they are also other day traders who got the timing wrong ,they didn`t see that China never gave the report on their production which had a dip on oil use which pulled the SP down a bit , just got to look at Laidback 100% negitive then he buys in and 100% positive then at a loss he sells again most likely lost a few hundred quid and now all negitive till the next time ,

yep i see a pound sign in TLW in a years time if not sooner , i watched the last presentation fromTLW , must say it was very bullish even the ii`s thought so , the only thing pulled this down was the virus or held it back , the presentation pushed the sp up 20p in these hard times .

GG/ nope everything you are doing is trying to knock the company , the company are pumping 80,000 bpd and all you do is be negitive , no interest at tall , the company has 2 great assets it is selling to pay back a massive part of the debt and you are just 100 % negitive ,

While the rest of the world is tentatively coming out of lockdowns, China is taking advantage of the cheapest crude oil in years to stock up as demand is starting to return in the world’s largest oil importer, Bloomberg reported on Friday, citing tanker-tracking data it has compiled. At present, a total of 117 very large crude carriers (VLCCs) – each capable of shipping 2 million barrels of oil – are traveling to China for unloading at its ports between the middle of May and the middle of August. If those supertankers transport standard-size crude oil cargoes, it could mean that China expects at least 230 million barrels of oil over the next three months, according to Bloomberg. The fleet en route to China could be the largest number of supertankers traveling to the world’s top oil importer at one time, ever, Bloomberg News’ Firat Kayakiran says.

While focus has been on further capex reductions, Tullow continues to invest in projects yielding good returns and the Board has agreed to progress the next phase of the Simba development in Gabon which will pay back before the end of 2021 at $30/bbl.



The Group's underlying operating costs remain less than $12/bbl, with Ghana operating costs at c.$9/bbl. With the benefit of the Group's hedging policy and production remaining on track within the Group's 70-80 kbopd guidance range, this results in a free cash flow breakeven oil price of c.$35/bbl for the rest of the year.



Hedging

As outlined at Tullow's Full Year Results, the impact of reduced oil prices is mitigated by the Group's robust hedging strategy. Tullow has 60% of its 2020 sales revenue hedged with a floor of c.$57/bbl and 40% of 2021 sales revenue hedged with a floor of c.$53/bbl. Tullow's realised oil price in January and February 2020 was c.$62/bbl and following the recent price drop, hedging receipts of c.$30 million are forecast for March 2020.
