i will be surprised if some of the big german car manufacturers aren't all over us like a rash! we're are on their doorstep. this reeks of green credentials & sustainability. just the kind of thing that vw need in their ****nal right now, after the co2 fiasco and all the bad press that that brought.

There will be backlash from the locals for sure. They will play the Iberian Wolf population card. However, SAV are doing all the right things. This will be the most environmentally friendly mine in Europe. They are striving towards carbon neutral mining and have an end of mine life plan to convert the land back to a natural beauty spot. The locals will make a mint renting rooms and their town economy will boom. This isn't about destroying huge acreage in northern Portugal, it's about creating a stronger Portuguese economy, a self reliant Europe and a sustainable planet.

I was thinking the exact same thing just yesterday. Just to confirm what happened:

Rolls Royce have just successfully tested Hydrogen powered aircraft. Portugal need to pull their finger out with the Lithium at MdB or Hydrogen powered vehicles will win the race. No charge time, quick fuel tank filling & no old batteries to recycle.

Strike whist the iron is hot Portugal.

I think we will start to see Hydrogen / Electric (Lithium) Hybrids. That way you get the quick fill up from the Hydrogen if needs be. A green solution without tedious charge times.

Extremely strange share buying pattern today????

If the wait goes on too long, Hydrogen technology will have improved and you can fill a Hydrogen powered vehicle in minutes rather than laborious charge times with Lithium.

Just need Neil to drive it and pull off some of the projects that are bubbling. If they get mass producing for a large concrete pouring outfit, we'll be back over a £1 in no time.
