Re: What a day8 Feb 2021 23:14
Well we've been on quite a ride the last 12 months, Covid putting in to doubt the drill then after all these years we finally rolled the dice and the house won. It was always a massive gamble with only 35% chance of success, most of us knew what we were doing, personally taken a massive hit, one that will take a long long time to recover from. When the dust settles fingers will be pointed. Potter isn't responsible for the drill being a duster, so remove that notion, he is responsible for CERP and right now if we had no other assets then we maybe at a total game over stage so for as much as it harmed the SP short term, long term the merger may save us and allow us to make some small ground up. Looking back the big red flag was LK resigning from the board, I believe he knew it was a duster and wanted out, probably didn't to be part of today after overseeing the merger. Other red flags I feel was the presentation we saw 2 weeks ago, it was poorly executed and the fact none of the top brass wanted to face the camera makes me think they knew it was a duster probably didn't have the poker face for it. I had a bad feeling after watching and nearly hit the sell at 2.3p last week but couldn't resist staying in the game, like a violinist on the titanic... oh well. Personally I think we are looking at 6 months to a year of treading water at around 0.5p until there is some news, I am predicting in the long term BPC maybe swallowed up by a bigger fish. From my own research the Bahamas have had many exploratorily over the last 50 years with no real success, oil being found and not being the right sort of oil. I personally did think we would buck the trend and good oil was going to be found though. I don't expect much from Trinidad tbh and doubt it will shift the SP much but one can hope. I think this board has distorted peoples expectations, Star's posts have been great in helping giving us insight, others who said it would be a waste of time just came on here full of poison with nothing better to do, fair play they where right but not through any brilliant knowledge as no one truly knows what's down there until it is drilled. I am not aware of the quality of oil in T&T and will be researching it over the next week, where there is a loser there is a winner and I hope some have bought in today and make a few Bob. Lessons learned are the most important thing here, someone called this a ponzi scheme on here about 4 weeks ago, those words will ring in my ear for the rest of my days. Don't drown with the ship, get swimming. Fingers crossed, probably wont be on here again, so wishing everyone GL for the future.
