How long will the cash pile last if they suddenly make £80 - £100m losses?

It's not me that has dropped the sp to 65p - I'm nursing losses from 190p, 171p, 150p, etc etc etc etc & etc

Let's look on the bright side - oh there isn't any yet.

I don't think results, when released next week, will help much. BBC reports :

That's according to research published today, which suggests that between 800,000 and a million businesses nationwide may soon have to close".

I had targeted today to buy a few but now not sure I am going to take the chance even below 65p! Let's hope YU survives

BCC responds to changes to insolvency laws

Commenting on Business Secretary Alok Sharma’s announcement on the relaxation of the insolvency rules, BCC Head of Economics Suren Thiru said:

“Businesses will welcome the government’s sensible steps to amend insolvency laws to help protect companies weakened by the impact of coronavirus.

“It is right that the rules on wrongful trading are temporarily suspended to ensure that directors are not penalised for doing all they can to save companies and jobs during this turbulent period.

“Companies that were viable before the outbreak must be supported to ensure they can help power the recovery when the immediate crisis is over.

“Cashflow remains an urgent concern for many businesses, so it’s vital that government support packages reach businesses and people on the ground as soon as possible.”

I'm waiting at least until next Wednesday to see how low it may go as it looks like we have not seen the bottom yet. With hindsight this is one share where a stoploss would have paid off as it has been one way downhill since I first bought at 190p in June 2019 but who could have foreseen 65 -70p!! However, not selling down here as made that mistake too many times ; ie selling at the bottom only for the share price to recover within a reasonable time frame eg sold OXB at below 4p then watched the share price rise to over £10. Just have to keep the faith.

Many of us cannot afford to buy GGP at the current price so with small investing, you have a chance to invest in companies that you might not be able to afford. Small trades gives you the opportunity to own a small piece of such companies—and benefit in a small way from their success.
