I continue to email the company asking for an update and others should do the same. They can't ignore us all forever, can they?
That generic response from Consilium was awful and I hope they aren't paying for that service.
I sometimes think this will make Netflix and people will be asking where did the £85m go! This is a commercial disaster, we are simply two years post phase 3 failure and probably have spent a further £5m-£7m during this period.
What has actually been achieved since P3 failure? Share price has gone down dramatically, every at board level and staff continue to get paid and shareholders receive updates that tell us nothing!
It doesn't feel right! We are being shafted here!
Thanks MyIPA, I think it is entirely relevant to consider previous updates from the company. The clearly stated they would be starting trials at end of H2 2023, that hasn't happened.
Will H1 2024 be now H2 2024? We have no idea!
RM should work in politics, taken from April 2023:
Richard Marsden, CEO of Synairgen, said: "2022 was an insightful year for Synairgen, pointing us towards a clear clinical development plan following analysis of the Phase 3 SPRINTER data and other important data.
"We confirmed with our clinical collaborators the significant unmet need for broad-spectrum antivirals to help address both the ongoing need to treat viral lung infections, and in preparation for future pandemics. We believe that SNG001 has the potential to help fill this important gap in respiratory treatments for high-risk patient groups and we look forward to initiating the first trials in the SECOND HALF OF THIS YEAR (2023).
I have requested an update the reflects their moral obligations to the private shareholder.
All we can do is individually contact the company.
Spac was bang on yesterday. RM invited shareholders to invest at £1.75 per share. We are now at 5p. If RM is struggling to read the room for private shareholders then we really are in trouble.
Just before close someone has just purchased 200 shares at £0.0599 per share totalling £11.98.
People spending more at the checkouts in the supermarket.
£2 Billion takeover is around the corner. I can feel it!
'The company said H1 and we have no reason to believe and certainly no evidence to suggest the trials will not go ahead in H1'
You should write jokes.
Unfortunately due to my serious misjudgement of this company, I still hold many shares which are sadly not worth a lot of money.
I am therefore entitled to still follow this company and make comment. Yes, the progress of this company is awful however if and when we have an uplift in share price I will be out however for the meantime like some others, I remain locked in this share and can't move.
Well done Dick Marsden.
As expected another generic email received.
I have responsed and asked if the trials are still anticipated to take place in H1.
Reading between the lines - the trials will be pushed back to H2 as they need further time to 'collating insights' then prepare a trial design then trial set up.
Sounds like we will be lucky if the trials will start this year!
Hi
Many thanks for your email.
Synairgen continues to progress its work collating insights from non-interventional studies to inform a robust clinical programme for SNG001, targeting the patient groups most likely to respond.
It remains Synairgen’s goal to commence clinical trials as soon as this non-interventional work is complete and the team looks forward to updating investors with progress in due course.
Best regards,
Some on here think they have genuinely made the perfect investment with this company.
The numbers don't lie and sadly we all await Dick Marsden's next move. Next update will probably be interim results only because the market regulator tells RM that's what he needs to do to keep his £300k salary alive.
Doc - Odd approach from you, supporting a company that has lost 97% value and suggesting that somehow we can't be disappointed with the company.
Stay invested?
We are locked in here and forced to stay.
No point in selling for 97% loss. The damage has already been done.
Salaries continue to be paid and we get no news.
Spend my Sundays - Off the top of my head, it was a window of 30 minutes after a wonderful roast dinner watching the snooker. It was a beautiful Sunday.
Just tried to call the 'office landline' for Synairgen, just rang out and went to the voicemail of Michelle Day.
£85M and they can't even take a call on a Monday morning at 9:10.
I imagine the payroll systems works just fine every month.
Nice one Doc, you just happened to be checking the forum 22 minutes after my post on a quiet Sunday evening.
I think the ones who believe this share will turn need to see a counsellor.
SP down c. 97% since P3 failure
No products, no confirmed trials planned
Awful communications with shareholders
No update from CEO and no 2024 NY message
We really did pick one of the worst performing stocks in the last couple of years.
Game is up for me, this company won't achieve anything.
Fruits - negative or positive comments about this company, unfortunately we are all invested in this company.
If we are all honest with ourselves, the words 'Synairgen' and Richard Marsden' make you laugh and at the same time say 'how on earth did I end up getting involved with this company'.
