In the case of BCN we colluded as shareholders thanks to one particular holder and I think we got to around 10% but one of the holders decided to go with the BoD and it just wasnt enough and this will almost always be the case on most AIM shares. PI's have no power and no sway - and these companies are well aware of this...
Aggressive takeovers dont work like this ! Its usually 1.5 to 2 x current SP which is why erosion of a shares price is very dangerous to nano-cap shares like this. In a 'normal' company say like Pets at Home or Aviva you can look at the turnover and margins as well as the share price and reach an accurate and reasonable offer, but anyone wanting to buy an out fit like this arent going to be that interested even in a DFS (which we still have no sign of BTW). This isnt a guess it happened in BCN -- the dodgy board suppressed the SP and then went for a SP x 1.6 bid which they didnt contest at all. This is what happens in the real world, and in the case of BCN its meant to be in the top 5 Li resources in the world and that still didnt seem to make much difference to the acquisition value....
Please tell us where you are borrowing the shares from ???
I'd say £1 as we've been up there before but on average 80p would be okay...
I've said this before and I'll say it again, how does it help this or other tiny shares to be listed on so many disparate stock exchanges ????
Funny thing about this share is Sound energy NEVER had any gas but rose to good levels before the collapse but this outfit has a fair and regular amount of oil and the possibility of loads of oil but it just festers ???
...arent you just an investing genius then !
When I said I filtered him I really meant I filtered him so no peaking as there is nothing he could possibly say that I would be interested in. In fact I only dip in here every so often anyway to read. Its just that every time I did I had to see his drivel and psuedo research which I cant be bothered to read. To be honest these boards are not a lot of use generally as people are either guessing or posting deliberate mis-information to keep investors in the game ...So you will not get your wish and JIMB can stew in my filter bin. (he is only the 2nd person in over a decade I have ever filtered !)
I dont miss Flawlesskicks blind zealot posts !
Im also building a position, at the moment I am sitting on the sofa, shortly I will be reclining and then latterly lying on the sofa !
Stumbled on this being the most traded share on HL recently. After looking at it and its surrounding Hype I see its another UKOG. KDNC, SOU --- ie ski slope chart swing trading on slim margins and never ending placings to pay directors kids school fees and salaries. This will drag on for years with keep em keen 'nearly there' RNS's and in 2030 I would guess there will be a new crop of posters saying it really will happen now after years of delay --- not for me thanks !!!
Finally after all these years I have decided Jimb2's pointless rampy waffle needs to be filtered out. I would love to know whether he is a sad little pensioner with a desire to preserve his pot - or a paid ramper with an agenda. Either way he seems to have a lot of time to post all this stuff !
Cc - I agree sanctions are a bit of a Ruse and I agree that 'refined products' cannot be traced back to Russian oil as long as non-Russian oil is also being refined. But how have they got around their oil being in the same pipeline ? Also arent domestic oil prices rubbish ?
I dont think this can have a massive breakout while the war is going on as they need to sell a LOT of oil on the open market to do this ??
Ray - if he worked at the local council he would have a final salary pension, it is clear from his continuous protectionary posts that he is trying to maintain his SIPP value !
But there are many that think you can accurately research AIM shares LoL !
And I cant understand why this isnt helping the SP ????
Everything here says "although seemingly cheap no one would consider ploughing any more cash in due to the multiple failed promises and now lack of meaningful info. I wonder if the BOD read these boards -- maybe they do to see if their strategy is panning out....
I dont think its healthy to 100% believe anything an AIM CEO says. Yes he seems credible but I have seen too many 'great storys' on AIM to hang on every word. Quoting Sound Energy, KDNC and UKOG as 3 examples of CEOs telling great stories and in the case of Sound telling us we'd be rich ! Fortunately in the case of Sound and UKOG I only had a small position and didnt stay long but KDNC has been like a tumour for a decade !
I am with you here - they could have at least said DFS expected by end Feb perhaps ????
