Well Sam you've obviously sussed it. Someone clearly has an issue with someone else. A very strange BBC clip, but that's not surprising, for this public service broadcaster, they are completely biased with their reporting. I wonder how they get a licence to operate. So Symphony Environmental is at the cutting edge with a great product - leading the world, but hang on it doesn't work underwater where there's not much oxygen and it leaves fragments of plastic in water which if not exposed to oxygen will not decompose and will leave micro plastic for our prawn starters to gourge on. If that doesn't smack of a person's nose being put out of joint by someone on the Symphony team, or the oxo biodegradable lobby, or just the competition trying to queer the pitch then I don't know what does. But lets look at it. SYM gets all it's profit and turnover from d2w. It's mkt cap based on turnover is far far too high and despite years of the promise of jam tomorrow the turnover does not seem to increase very much, yet there are so many good things coming in the near future ..... sure sure. d2w is just a trademark for the batch additive. Other people make other additives that do the same. It's not the only company with the rights to sell oxo biodegrable plastic additives. All the recent talk of reducing plastic in our environment is making people want to stop using once obly plastic and substitute it with nothing or something like a paper product. People don't want plastic that disappears if there is an alternative. Also the share issue keeps getting diluted with shares for the board. There isn't much sign of a dividend and nothing much for the outside investor. All my opinions of course. But remember Don't believe anything the BBC tells you.
