Therés a reason why they´ve dropped,imo, why d´you see value in PDL? That I cannot fathom, as for Shanty I dont think this has dropped much yet, but I guess it will if the mine is shut. Last time I looked at PDL all I saw was debt and stones too small to make a profit on - maybe something´s happened since I looked last. Not sure about Premier either but heh ho.

Not sure I Agree. Shanta has given a clear set of their coming news updates in their presentations. Those who have to rush announcements out seem to often cause volatility / an adverse reaction. Volatility will be high for months - I suspect. But for those of us in it for the long term it doesnt really matter 5p or 20p. Obviously notices about government decreed shut downs would trash the short term share price, but barring a government takeover the fundamentals are still compelling IMO.

Herés hoping Zurrins next update will blow this out of the water and the day traders who are in and out, are out when the news comes. I hope I wont have to make my shares available to someone else at a lower price and I am certainly not intending to.

So a 100,000 trade goes thru @ 9.50 gutted for the bloke who put in an order which got filled at 16:55 for a price way outside the real price. It´s .hit for us private inevestors.

The figures look shocking in Stockopedia. Personally I dont think Zurrin particularly cares in the short term. Hés on a mission to accumulate as many shares as possible. Having spoken to him, (at an investor´s meet)I think he is determined that Shanta will go big time - medium term. I guess a long term uptrend is better than a spike and blow off. Héll need to be promising a future dividend by year end, if he doesnt want to loose too many investors along the way.

Thanks Daisan informative postings. Ím not sure if anyone covered off the VAT accrual length, but the 0.6 monthly accrual figure that is current is far far less than that that used to be accrued on a monthly basis and it will continue to be this lower figure going forward.

I guess a cynic might say if shanta are so bad at hedging perhaps they should stop doing it. Although I wonder if therés an attempt to stop the share price rising too quickly so that A they can load up and B it doesnt blow up. Interesting that Miton Group put out a holding notice recently was this a decrease or increase in holding? Unless I have read it wrong then there is just little enough information for it to tell me ugger all.
