Jacob, I hope you don't feel too lonely in the sellers' corner hoping for a drop to get back in. There's no indication of a drop so far, on the contrary. MMs encouraging folk to part with their shares, like you did.

Many here, I guess, got in cheap in the last 2 weeks and may not be do eager to sell so cheap. Others, paid a higher pro and are not willing to be mugged by some 20-year old in a boiler room playing broker.

Besides, many realise the potential of this share and are happy to wait for anything North of 10p.

Uncooked, is correct. The deal with inheritance tax (IHT) and AIM shares. Some people think you can hold up to £1 million in AIM shares completely free from IHT, but that's actually not true. AIM shares don’t have a specific exemption like that.

What really happens is that certain AIM shares can qualify for what’s called Business Relief. Before, if you held these shares for at least two years, they’d be completely free from IHT. But now, instead of being totally exempt, they only get a 50% relief. So, instead of facing a 40% IHT charge, your estate would now have an effective 20% IHT rate on those shares.

In other words, AIM shares still help reduce inheritance tax, but not as much as they used to.

To answer my own question, no, SQZ does not have specific operational or financial ties to the Gryphon terminal owned by TotalEnergies. Serica Energy's main production assets in the UK North Sea are the Bruce, Keith, and Rhum fields, along with non-operated interests in the Triton and Erskine fields, which are not associated with the Gryphon terminal. Serica is focused on developing its existing assets and has recently increased its North Sea portfolio by acquiring assets unrelated to Gryphon.
