What they said was "Helium shows identified in shallow strata from 70.5 metres"...from 70.5m! They could be at 200m by now.

The CEO said 1 month to drill to TD and there is no mention of delays.

0.3% is the rate that it is deemed commercially viable. All HE explorers at a rate of 2.2% would be selling their mothers if they could find sucha field with good pressure.

Folks should look at this like we have a pressure cooker at 1200 depth, which is letting only little gas to escape through a valve (seepage from seals below). IF we had a fault across Tai, we may have seepage showing the % from the fields blow, but we don't.

So, I hope the seal below is very effective and when we breach it we may have some great news coming our way.

Next target at 400 metres. Fingers crossed people.

Not an advice, but they say "never" buy on the first 30 min. However, in my opinion anything under 20p at this stage it is not a bad entry. Good luck. IMHO and DYOR.

So we have Helium shows identified at a shallow strata from 70.5 metres at HE concentrations of up to 2.2% recovered from drilling mud. They now expect to the drilling operations to continue to the base of Lake Bed Formation, anticipated to be at 400 metres to do another logging so they can have a better idea of the formation.
Of course we know that at this stage they are just gauging the qualitative nature of gas and not the quantitative aspects and a disclaimer is necessary. The 2.2% is actually a good thing as I would not like to find a greater % at this level which could mean that the seals at deeper levels are not being effective, but at the same time this being Helium we should expect some gas shows escaping through the seals. I would be more concerned if we didn’t have any gas shows at this level. This is great news!

I am too sorry to hear of your position at the moment. I echo DBD's post as to what we have ahead of us in terms of possible outcomes.
If it is any consolation to you, I have been investing in shares since 2000 and been in many exploration companies along the way and so far, call it luck or not, I had only one bust up and that was with BPC (my own fault as I ignored some signs). Apart from that I have been careful with my research and picked some real winners. HE1 has to me all the hallmarks of a winner and I have placed what is to me a good amount of cash and I don't want to lose any of it!

What is happening right now what foreseen by a few many posts ago and should come as no surprise, yet it is not rocket science, yet there are times where it can work differently so I prefer to buy and hold as I have no stomach to trade and I am happy with that decision and have just to stomach the waves.

So, I have made my mind to buy and wait for the drill - end of. We have quite a lot of points in our favour.

Maybe the trader who "gave" us 10 million for 10p a shares so we could do our drilling easier? There was no TR1 when they got the shares so certainly no "love in the air"..just in and out. The easiest 100% done in less than 3 months. Good for them, good for us.

Absolutely! 4 wells, 11 targets and styles of traps to test. It is a journey and I wouldn't like to out of this when that RNS saying we got some HE shows in the logs lands, I hope!!

I wouldn't call that a "problem" in my books! :0)

Remember, folks, we need to take into account that many of the other exploration oil companies didn't have oil seeping overground, oxford academics writing about their fields, and drilling companies accepting shares in exchange for part of the work and not to mention a top CEO and geologists working for us.

A while back, someone posted here what might happen to the shape price of HE1 during our drilling campaign. The idea was that it would follow what happened to other drilling companies and the movements are very similar. I forgot who posted it, but I am sure he/she are still around, so I apologise for the lapsus in my memory.

I copied what it was said as it was based on empirical evidence and not based on "tea leaves readings". Here is a partial quote of what was said:

"You might find that a price rises up to spud announcement and then if the drill is likely to take 6 weeks or more then the SP will drop back or drift sideways and then it might rise again towards the end of the anticipated drilling time etc.

Usually there then follows a drop off on the SP until they start some sort of 'testing' at which point folk will get back in to a stock again in anticipation of a good test result-Many will bale out as close to the test result announcement as possible on the basis that more often than not, the testing isn't as positive as the hype may have inferred.- and better to take 15-20% profit for sure than hope that the results are good".

What they call "create liquidity" is also called "permission rip retail investors off".

In my books, regardless of what you referend to T&C's, "creating liquidity" is a polite word for "day light robbery" of retail investors.

So, if I am to gullibly believe that because I have more cash than Joe Retail Investor Bloggs and I want to create liquidity, I can dump £1 million of my cash into a share to create a few upward ticks and attract some RI and then, when they all flock to the stock and feed the frenzie I created and I then dump all my shares and get out with their money is what the T&Cs call "creating liquidity", the world is upside down!
