Petards, the AIM quoted developer of advanced security and surveillance systems, announces that it has been awarded a £0.6 million contract by a major UK defence systems contractor to provide test equipment for use on a UK Ministry of Defence ("MOD") programme. The contract is for the design, manufacture and supply of equipment that will form part of a Defensive Aids Suite system integration test rig that will enable the customer to carry out verification of electronic countermeasure configurations prior to their installation on aircraft. Most of the equipment is expected to be delivered in the second half of 2015 and the project is expected to be completed early in 2016.
