The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Hello,
been a while since I was here. Still holding shares with Amigo and just found this article on the H&L Page. I think it's good news that it appeared on there. The message says nothing we don't already know, but they placed it and that I look at as positive: https://www.hl.co.uk/shares/stock-market-news/company--news/amigo-makes-progress-under-court-sanctioned-scheme
stevie, you should never draw conclusions about yourself to others.
HH do you mean Rosie and Jimmy?
*know
HH don't be so humble. Most of us knew you have a lot more than 10 billion :-)
And I really do not like 'autocorrect' :-)
All in favours for Amigos. I'm not worried, but I never was. This won't go as it did when it shot up from zero to 30 pence, but it will raise. Amigo will now to prove itself. All good and saying that they have products that make the market blow, but we haven't seen these products, so I understand. It's still risky, not as much a before the court, but it's still risky in the current climate. Glad I also bought into oil over a year ago :-)
Chugger,
I have no idea what you're talking about. I wasn't even here the last few months. At least not long enough to criticise the company and I don't believe I ever did that in great detail, if even at all. Whether you or anyone else is enjoying either my presence or my absence on these boards is about as relevant to me, as if a sack of rice falls off some ship in China. As for my investments, I'm doing extremely well, thank you. At least I don't have to hang around in here and break out in a sweat every time the SP moves in either of the two directions and to distract myself read gobbledygook from the likes from failures like yourself and you are a huge investment-failure becomes evident when reading the jealousy that is oozing out nearly every word you write. On that note I'm off again. Got to scan news about current affairs in the world and make decisions to improve my positions further and perhaps add one or two more.
Don't praise the day before it's over. I remember it shooting up to 30p in a very short time. I've sold off then and bought back when it was much lower, with the same amount only. I've gone into profit today.
Nearly 7.5 to buy right now on H&L. Something positive happened or happening?
Feels, not 'Fell'
Malpenn, I agree with you. This is still so volatile and the current situation in the world doesn't make it any less volatile. Fell like a roller coaster all over again.
buzz.. don't even start :-) Last time we had this level of excitement, I could hardly sleep. I am hoping we go up to or over 20p tomorrow, so I can sell some shares and buy more oil, before that shoots up any higher. Where Amigo is concerned, I have a good feeling. With the increasing prices due to inflation (got informed that my energies will go up by over one third as of April this year) people will need access to shorter term, quickly accessible and affordable loans, that banks won't offer and I hope Amigo has something like that among the new products they promised a long time ago. If they do, Amigo will be the only one left in this market and could really prosper.
jonesrichard, I hope so :-) I want to sell a few to buy a bit more oil :-)
Vinson was, maybe still is, one the major share holders of Amigo stock. He was, maybe still is, a member of this board and ran the various Clubs (Ball of Steel Club, Balls of Wood Club, etc.). It was little bit of fun, during the dreary yet exciting months of waiting and hoping, but some far too serious folk started attacking him for it. I hope these have now all left and I hope Vinson is fine and hope he'll return to this board some day.
Just been alerted to this video. According to them the FCA is clamping down on investment websites, channels, apps and
advertisements of financial products: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AWwaciVWYjk
MMgames welcome to the Amigo world. What just discovered, many of us have either profited, lost of suffered. Your account reads boooooooring. Because we've all been there and experienced it
Never mind over 6p. It's moved over 3p today and I feel like opening a bottle of Asti Spumante lol :-)
No point for me selling now, but if this goes belly up, then I'd lose a fraction of what I've made when it was on 30p. I wish all in here would be in that position, even though it would hurt me also, as I hate losing and hating to lose an investment, no matter how small or big, I expect to be the case for everybody. Not sure if Vinson is still in, as he was more heavily invested than all of us combined. I hope this turns out ok for all invested and those who are not invested, I couldn't care less about. Best way to deal with them, is to ignore them and let them suck the corners of their comfort blankets.
I'm not you 'mate'. If you refer to childishness, then read yourself. I don't engage in battle, for I know I'd win any battle against you. You should not suggest, let alone offer, any investments on any board and you know that. So sod off and take your ads with you :-)
