Questor is tipping Glenda today, usually the kiss of death for any share but I'd agree with them this time.

Amanda Blanc, you've got to be joking she's totally woke & if you check out any AV press/media she is personally discriminating against white makes ffs . She'd be a disaster for BP more out of the frying pan into a petrol fuelled inferno if she comes aboard.
Thank you for your efforts here Bott, like a lot of other shareholders here I am well under water having an average buy price of 2.80 .It will be interesting what is stated in the financials this coming November.
Now would be the time for the directors to buy some heavy lumps, also Kerley & Duhta.
It is ,Glencore has sold its share in Vittera & we get $2 billion in cash plus a stake in Bunge worth $6.2 billion.
No hidden meaning pal.The inhabitants of Shap which is now in Westmorland are known as Shaperites.
I guess they could be better re capital appreciation, but they appear to have the same mantra as Michael Watt re dividend & are still one of the few companies never to have cut the dividend. I dumped shell & BP when they cut their division substantially, that's why I believe the current management will not cut the the divi here.
Plus we hold some very good companies that pay heavy dividends.
I have a fairly large holding here & many years ago when Michael Watt was running the show I emailed him re dividend. I got a reply that it was not the intention to ever cut the dividend as we realise how important it is to investors.
I would guess this is still the case now although as someone mentioned in a previous post if they do cut the divi it could be terminal for this share.I would still be a holder even if they just held the divi at the current level but would not be happy with a cut as there has been zero capital growth over a long period of time.
Who knows what the future holds this may turn around big-time over the next year or so but if it doesn't I'm happy enough with the quarterly dividend.
Winter is not over yet.Unless there is something we don't know about todays fall is overdone, could be Glenda is just being Glenda.
Covid the scamdemic that keeps on giving,I'm more concerned about these boat people who arrive every day here & our energy security than some clapped out virus.
Ade I don't have to justify anything to you.You do your own thing & don't concern yourself with what anyone else is or isn't doing.
Spikey
I'm no fan of musk he is too flakey, one day he's buying the next day he is not. Yes its admirable that Glencore eventually wants to do away with coal but in the meantime it is making money hand over fist, the world ATM needs coal bigtime.
I've just added 3000 this morning & am happy to hold these shares for income.
GLA
Yeah right we believe you.
I'm not keen on musk buying a stake in Glenda musk is a pain in the backside with everything he gets involved in.Will he won't he buy etc etc maybe today maybe not next week, the guy is too flakey for my liking.
Wayzgoose
I do the same with half of my holding as you say it is a brilliant share to trade using limit orders, only needs to move 2% either way to make good money depending on the size of your holding.
Zac
Similar thoughts to myself as long as that chunky divi keeps coming each quarter I'm fine with share price. It will turn in our favour eventually (I hope ) how I look at things is yield & like houses the house can go up or down in price or simply stand still for years. But as long as the rent/divi comes in who cares.
Plus you've no grief with bad tenants or maintenance issues.
Aye I'm another long term holder currently averaging 2.99 all I can say is up to now they have never cut a divi so I'm just going to hold.I might add a few thousand in April into my ISA ,although if they do reduce divi I won't.
Yeah the price drop is concerning, although China only accounts for 18% of the total portfolio,7 of the top 10 dividend paying companies In HFEL's portfolio are Chinese.
On the plus side HFEL have never cut a dividend & IMHO are unlikely to do so, they may just hold the divi which is fine by me until things get better.
Don't forget the government if you can call it that will have BP in their sights to scam some more so called windfall taxes.
Especially if the media start to whip up hysteria again once winter sets in.
Glen on the other hand is slightly under the radar & is making shed loads of cash from its coal business & will continue to do so.
