Don't forget the government if you can call it that will have BP in their sights to scam some more so called windfall taxes.
Especially if the media start to whip up hysteria again once winter sets in.
Glen on the other hand is slightly under the radar & is making shed loads of cash from its coal business & will continue to do so.
Yeah it is a strange one, they are doing well in the UK & the US & aim to expand into Europe. But that is IMHO a big risk in the current climate. How many good businesses have I/we seen over the years mess up expanding into other countries. They make 80% of their profits from luxury watches & as a watch collector myself I know people can always find money for that Patek Phillippe or Rolex
But I hold 1500 shares for the ride.
FRES just does its own thing, I noticed its contemporaries MAG silver, Hecla, & First Majestic silver were all up between 6% & 7% on Friday after our market was closed so could be a bit of follow through here. Another thought was crypto is getting slaughtered of late & maybe people are starting to realise Gold & silver are worth something rather than gambling on some worthless crypto.
Are you on something tibbles, no one cares there are real problems happening very close to our doorstep & you are fussing over a triviality like a booze up, ffs get a life.
Nobody is disputing Mr t's centamin info, it's his political trash talk that gets up peoples noses.
asaiaka, dividend appeared in my Halifax dealing account today, I have noticed this year they have been very slow at showing divis in my ISA as well, seems to be 2-3 days late all the time at present. No doubt they'll blame covid lol.
Just bought 920, this will look cheap as chips by the end of the year.
JPMORGAN RAISES FRESNILLO PRICE TARGET TO 1,150 (1,100) PENCE - 'NEUTRAL'
Normally a 2% + drop in spot silver would have Fres going down big time, today its holding steady. Are the markets finally taking note that this is a quality & profitable company.
I don't think so, if I'm not mistaken they have hedged roughly 4 million oz of 2021 production at $27 which hopefully will amount to only 20% ish total sales. They are still making very good money if silver is at $27,it is certainly strange that we are not a lot higher, similar story with FRES hardly moved today whereas US silver miners at time of writing have jumped 10%.
Maybe we'll move up a gear tomorrow.
Lol right on que PMs smashed again, when I wonder will this paper farce stop.
I've been buying & selling physical silver & the odd ounce of gold for 20 years. I'm primarily a collector but have a decent amount of bullion I sell from time to time.
Anyone whom is interested in buying silver & other precious metals have a look into this website TSF. It's free to join & there are some decent deals to be had https://www.thesilverforum.com/
Re Bitcoin I read somewhere (sorry i can't find the link) that 80% of all bitcoins are owned by just 4 people/entities including MUSK. If they start to dump bitcoin it will crash.
I've just added another 1000 in FRES & am heavily overweight in PM miners but like everyone here, I think silver is cheap as chips.
I'll be happy if silver closes above $30 at close of business in the US

Would be nice to see the reddit boys take it to the JP Morgan.
No worries Siko , what you have to say is always relevant & much appreciated & I to am sick of some of the drivel spouted recently that has 0 to do with CEY. Lets hope there is no more of it.
Have a nice Christmas one & all.
What is Warren Buffet then in the analogy. He buys & holds for very long periods of time.
Yes FRES often doesn't do much to the upside then suddenly makes a big jump up.
Good point SC thanks for that.
