How will this effect the dividend long term?

Thanks both, very much a fan of the FIRE movement so gone heavy in here and LGEN with £100k each, with a bit more to invest somewhere else (TFIF looks good, thanks for that), which I know is very risky but I've got a Ltd company that has enough funds to pay myself and my partner the tax free allowance limit for the next 15 years by which time the SIPP will be accessible too, and we've both got lumps coming in inheritance too (which is horrible to talk about but that's the reality). Honest apologies if it sounds like a brag, I really don't mean it to, I'm just so happy that things have seemingly fallen in place from where my life was 10 years ago, and it's easier to tell strangers on the internet than bring it up in conversation down the pub. Anyway, I don't post much so will just say good luck all and disappear again.

Thanks, and congrats to you too. Yes, what happened in November is what prompted the sale. I hope it doesn’t happen again for the people still invested but my heart can’t take the ups and downs anymore

Not sure I have to as it’s sipp and isa, but can’t see me investigating it very hard 😉

Sold out today after holding from 96p-ish in my sipp and 137p in my isa. Made 325k so very very happy but about time I diversified. Thanks to all the positive posters in here over the last few years that kept me invested. Good luck to you all.

That all sounds great, it honestly does. Yes, the ability to hit the milestones by the current management is a concern but the biggest concern is, Why is the share price so low?? It seems the market doesn't have the same faith.

To carry on your analogy, if you have a house but no income and can't afford the mortgage, it seems like selling to get something, rather than losing the house and getting nothing, would be a good idea.

I don't want to be negative, but just the going concern statement alone is making the possibility of running out of money a worry. Happy to have my fears alleviated if you can.

i don't know what iaglongterm is saying as i've blocked him now but some handfuls of salt need to be taken with everything he says.

he sold out at a max of 305p as he thought it was the top - wrong

he thought the buybacks happened after hours - wrong

he thought the buybacks would stop on the 20th jan - wrong

he didn't know that the p/e could change after we released the figures - idiotic

he's spammed the board with needless nonsense - annoying

the guy is a total amateur, like most of us, but he is trying to pass himself off as something more.

i normally wouldn't get involved to this extent, and i'm really annoyed at myself for doing so, but he's ****ed me off.

i'm off to play golf to calm down.

Yes, the buyback will just keep going until the £350m is spent, no date given (other than maybe it was all happening before results day). I think they were trying to keep buying all through this quarter but as the price has gone up I don't know if they burnt through it quicker or adjusted how many shares they were buying each day and can't be bothered to check or do the maths just happy that they're still buying. Hoping there are further buybacks and at least a 5p dividend announced on results day.

Plus it’s not a UK company

Considering the rest of the market is getting punched in the face today, we’re not doing too bad. The buybacks helping to keep it up.

there is something going on as the motley fool is trying to **** on us today too. this is only going up, not necessarily in a straight line, but ultimately it will be £4’s but hopefully £5’s

We’re only 9 days of a 2% rise from £3. The higher we are the quick it will move

160% up in my SIPP and 90% up in my ISA. Would still like to hear from someone who has filled out one of these 210 forms though?

Think this will be £4.50 within 2 years.
