Guardian is not alone. FT calls UK ISA "pretty much meaningless"
What do you want them to say? "We're still going to work every day and putting on the lab coats"? That's precisely the sort of communication that marks a company out as being in trouble.
Into the ovens?
Agree. If Avacta have what they say they have it does not need endlessly discussing.
Re: Oph. Most of all his hot tip insider knowledge pose is a fraud
Cash is going to go, it's just a matter of when, and it's being driven by Joe Public who'd rather pay with plastic. Bricks and mortar banking too, for the same reason – convenience. I take your point about contrarian style, but ultimately Metro are going to end up alongside the drystone wallers and thatchers in a world that's moved on to new technologies – in a niche. How big a niche is the question.
"Can lead" or does lead? "Can lead" is newspaper headline stuff. How much of an increased risk? A relative risk or an absolute risk? Would be good to know.

Took me ten seconds to find that.
Have I missed something?
Cheers
Beardozer. I think that's exactly what they're planning to do – sell up, partially at least. So those calcs might be on the optimistic side.
As per the recent RNS:
"As part of the potential initial public offering ("IPO"), it is expected that the company will include a limited secondary offer. Final details on sizing will be made available when the final prospectus is published. While the Company remains highly confident of Oxford Nanopore's prospects to realise a strong IPO and generate continuous shareholder value, given the large position of Oxford Nanopore in the Company's portfolio (21.8% of its Net Asset Value as at 31 March 2021), the Company will seek to further diversify its portfolio through a partial realisation of its holding."
Hi Sparta10, What do you think is going on then?
First-rate whatabouterry. Are you paid to write that?
urbansea89. On the other hand, who needs a top flight PR company if they're about to launch something that will be on all the news bulletins?
"My guess is this vaccine is merely a front to depopulate the world by making a decent percentage of this that take it infertile. They’ve done it in Africa for years now it’s the Western worlds turn..."
Here's what Wikipedia is currently saying about Africa v "the Western world"
"Population growth rates vary by world region, with the highest growth rates in Sub-Saharan Africa and the lowest in Europe. For example, from 1950 to 2010, Sub-Saharan Africa grew over four and a half times, from about 186 million to 856 million. On the other hand, Europe only increased by 35%, from 547 million in 1950 to 738 million in 2010."
Just wondering where you're getting your info/stats from.
Can't think of a more credible health organisation than the WHO. Not perfect – they are beholden to the individual countries that fund them, which forces them onto the fence more often than might otherwise be the case – but I really can't see where else you'd go. Facebook Anti-Vax Land?
You could say the same about the effect of a city as a disruptor of wind and weather patterns. Or the sea. Or clouds. Or the moon. On top of that, since the Sahara was created by disrupted weather patterns – it used to be all green – perhaps a bit of a change wouldn't go amiss.
Nah, publish and be damned. ASAP. Pronto. We all need a laugh
He should quite simply be ignored
BBC says Boris is "improving". Not sure where the bias is there…
a) It's Morrissey – double S (you started it)
b) It's THEY'RE – as in THEY ARE
They're journalists. The produce journalism. The idea is to get eyeballs on the page, that's all.
