Bitcoin at 300k dollars??? What absolute s***e..... The volatility of this coin prevents institutional investors piling in with serious money. Currently it is the little men and one or two billionaires who can play with millions like it' s small change. Gold will continue to be the yardstick by which this is viewed and current valuations against the volatility curve of gold make a bitcoin at best be worth between 28 to £35k...any more and you are in the world of Black Tulip land....
Forgot to add I think the share will hover for a while between 45 and 65p....just my opinion..... with the odd collapse in between...
Interesting article on Bitcoin.... The suggestion was it would settle between 28 to £35k due to its volatility. Weighted against gold volatility the figure has been adopted by some institutional investors and as such they are keeping away... Quite sensible when risking other peoples money. We however only risk our own... So gambling on this share is exciting! But don't cry if it goes tits up!! I have said before this could be a Black Tulip.
Whilst I laugh at some of your musings there are one or two comments that resonate... Sentiment in BTC is on a knife edge. So many amateur investors have put too much in this... I hope we do not get a black tulip moment. I hold half of my original stake now.... Just in case!
I can't help wondering how this volatility is helping with credibility of bit coin. If I had bought a Tesla with 4 bitcoin a few months ago and am waiting for delivery you can bet your boots that with the crash in value of BC Tesla would be knocking on the door for more cash. Until this settles down long term it will be a long time before it is widely accepted... IMHO...
Never ceases to amaze me when a stock falls the swords come out and people bemoan the fact they have lost money.... What do you think this game is about? You have to accept you may lose your shirt because you got greedy and didn't sell at the right time, or that circumstances have conspired against your expert strategy to retire at 40. Just shut up. Ride it out and learn.... Otherwise go back to premium bonds or the lottery...
I would not be surprised to see a stock split of some kind going forward. Some of these smaller companies feel that having a penny share does nothing for its perception in the market place... Hence going forward to a split.... This can do wonders for image not necessarily reality...
Motley Fool change their minds depending on which way the wind blows.... These are the last people to rely on...
Makes me smile reading the cross continent banter.... This is a medium to long term investment... 1 to 5 years.... Stop wasting your time on childish point scoring about daily price changes.... You give investing a bad name....
Trolling has zero effect on a share price... A few trolls against a few thousand investors is a non starter. If you believe trolls control this share price you really should put your money in a piggy bank.
This board sounds like Tadpole Technology.... For pitys sake stop mythering about one day's trading... This is a medium to long haul stock....
Having worked in the USA with various Cannabis manufacturers to use mini production machines to increase output on products I will confidently say these shares are a good punt for the medium to long term. The UK is more cautious than our American cousins in embracing the weed for medicinal purposes but I predict within 5 years Cannabis derived products in the shape of gummy bear type products will be on the shelves for various ailments... Ignore the fools who ramp this daily... Today was a classic and Moneywise was made to look a fool..... Just buy in and sit it out... No ramping is necessary, it will climb organically once the technology is in place and a wider acceptance is obtained. A lot of investors won't touch it as brokers are pooling cannabis with tobacco so ethically they are prevented from investing.
In time they will come round and allow money in. Then the potential for this European industry will be immense.
