How do you get to vast being down 15% sardy? From this level plus 15% gets us to 59 ish. We were at 65 or so. I know AP said the same in his podcast with ref to his broker but it's not the case isn't it. Time for some good news from AP. MS

Today is completely understandable. I feel exactly the same. It doesn't win him any brownie points at the moment. However, it's done now and we are not dropping anymore which is good! In the last podcast AP was clearly positive and holding back as many had pointed out here over the time since aired. I am convinced he would have told us if he could have. There was no other option otherwise it would have been chosen so I have to go with that he had to do it suddenly to take advantage of an opportunity. Yes he is late with T2, yes he is late on other things and we want to know things when he does and in the detail that he has. Not going to happen. We are going to have to trust him that he does what he says he is going to do, maybe not in the timeframe that he thought when communicated but hey ho. Lawyers and governments. If you have dealt with them you know exactly what he is up against! I remain positive. More next week! GLA MS

Just heard on Bloomberg TV that Rio tinto is closing it's argyle mine in Australia in 2020 and their Canadian mine in 2024. Their CEO just stated that Rio likes diamonds so they have to find replacements. Always good to know that big players are looking for what we have! GLA MS

Well, from reading the 27/09 RNS again it seems quite likely that serious progress is being made. Many new parties in the data room and the old ones still engaged and they were able to convince the authority that they are making substantial progress with either farm-out or finance.

Always makes me wonder why the old interested parties are not moving ahead, even when they knew the 30/09 was coming up. Or would it have been 'because of the 30/09 coming up' nothing was concluded by these interested parties to try and pick the license up themselves. Surely by now they would then have moved wouldn't they? What is holding them up.

The UK needs gas and soon as well.

The graph is based on actual trading isn't it so the trading comes first and then the graph is made as a result. If so, then how can you know the base support line and the top box in advance? The seem to change all the time.

indeed if someone hasn't bought more, why would you expect others to do so. It's really quite simple. If you're fully invested or have reached your own per share investment limit you cannot buy more.

Therefore, additional buys have to come from cash rich investors already here or more likely from new investors (not here so don't know).
However, they will not 'find' (or trust) this share with it's current track record of delays if there is not more song and dance about the new license from AP (or his representatives) to those new investors.

On this BB we are all mostly invested in VAST (or ANFCR as it was called when I did) so blowing the trumpet here gives a nice warm feeling maybe but does next to nothing for the SP.

That is the real problem, yet again. Communications from the company.

PS Don't get me wrong, I am very happy with the news but have no understanding whatsoever of the total absence of communications in follow up. ANY communications would have done and ANY start-up marketing company would have done better than this.

Degsy, the answer is likely as simple as Beetham states. They don't want to sell to cheap. No entrepreneur in their right mind wants to give away value that is not absolutely necessary. They had Newmont in doing all kinds of survey work and GGP is sure of it's value.

GGP have the money in the bank to do as they see fit to prove up the resources and then do a deal. Not more to it.

Could someone point me to where I could find the cost of the different drilling campaigns that we have been and are now executing please? Been reading through many RNS's and cannot find any cost indication.
Or maybe to another (web?) location where I can read up on cost of drilling campaigns of others?
Trying to get to grips of the cost of (gold) exploration costs at different stages of development.
