I wonder if when the customer selects one solution, they'll also be selecting their DMS solution around the same time?

Now the articles and confidence in self driving cars arriving any time soon is changing. This can only be a good for SEE.
"In addition to well-designed HMI for the user, other systems can measure and portray information useful
for the user and the relevant (vulnerable) road users in the environment by using new state-of-the-art
technologies (e.g. a driver-monitoring camera)"

Another article about the sleeping tesla driver, putting the blame on people for falling asleep. A mention of DMS at the bottom
"However, it does highlight the fact that Tesla could have a better driver monitoring system if it can be tricked by a simple device.
Time to use the driver-facing camera in Model 3 to track driver attention?"

Given the effects of alcohol/drugs on eyesight. I'd be very surprised if SEE couldn't generate a probability of alcohol in your system. Which would then be combined with other sensors for an intoxication rating of the driver.

The question I ask every person who comes on our show to discuss self-driving cars is: is this going to happen. Is this real?
Yes, it can happen. I think you’re going to see small-scale deployments in the next five years, and then it’s going to phase in over the next 30 to 50 years.

I don't see anything in this document about Australian companies listed outside of Australia. The rules only seem to apply to Australian companies listed on ASX, or unlisted Australian companies...

Post confirming Volvo and Nvidia from last october

I'm guessing Nvidia are are behind Volvos Driver Monitoring. Several news stories from last year say Nvidia and Volvo will be working together.
Nvidia posted this today

Have they not just missed out the word "advanced" in front of "Distraction warning" on the page?
The legislation still refers to "advanced Distraction warning" (from a quick search while on my phone)

Maybe someone from SEE should get on the phone to Auckland Transport
"Blind spot assist, and updated speed limit and traffic sign recognition system and a driver monitoring system also appear on the new model."

"And the connection with Australia? The T6 Ranger was designed, developed and engineered Down Under."

Is this the Ford deal? Or is there a model due for release in 2020 that will contain the chip?
Here's my reasoning for Tesla
- The value is low. I'd expect an FCA deal to be larger
- Tesla have had a number of high profile incidents. And online videos of people being stupid
- Supercruise has been winning awards for their semi-autonomous tech
- see have had a Tesla as a test vehicle for a while (Can drive project)
