There seems to be a lot of misunderstanding on various boards here regarding reasons behind the recent price drop for each individual miner. It’s simply due to the declining gold price.

Professional traders are not applying the current gold price to value the stock but are rather hedging in case it pulls back much further. Nothing to do with the fundamentals of any particular mining company.

The more volatile the stock, the greater the pullback.

Conversely, when (not if) sentiment returns, the opposite will happen and the stock will surge again.

The combination of Friday’s US employment figures combined with nervousness over today’s US CPI report (on top of an already huge growth in both US stocks and precious metals), is exacerbating this further.

True it was aimed at those that don’t like the stock and also don’t own any. In which case, why do they bother to even comment at all?…

If this is the case they should be reported and/or the placing cancelled so they have to buy back the shares they shouldn’t have forward sold!

But also for KEFI with two imminent, important RNS’s - Final signatures for remaining $20m royalty equity + news from Saudi.

Not to mention the two new projects Harry recently hinted at, as well as a likely move to the main market at some point…..

Hard to imagine this won’t be 2p+ very soon.

Re. Chancery pre-IPO: they extended the deadline due to high demand and verbally increased their expectation to $15m.

They’ve just now stated they will have a second round at $3 per share.

If you look hard enough, you can find mention of potential war every day in Ethiopia. Yet people still live their lives there, businesses still make money there, Chinese companies still buy gold mines there….

This is one of the reasons that the shares are so cheap and those willing to appreciate that will be the ones that reap the rewards.

No major, credible news outlets are making these sensational headlines. It’s just Reddit, X and YouTube. Flights are coming and going to every airport in Tigray and Eritrean as per their normal daily schedule. Make of that what you will….

It was near the start in one of his videos early last week. Can’t remember the exact one though

He said he was pre-recording some videos before he left for Ethiopia, which he would post each day whilst he was away.

I’m looking forward to his next new video in which he hopefully gives KEFI some much-needed promotion!

I would assume the other companies (whose wet signatures are/were still pending) will also be there for the ground breaking ceremony, so an RNS to confirm this within the next 24 hours wouldn’t surprise me at all

You just have to think of his incentives….no war talk = no subscribers, no likes = no money from YouTube

If you scroll through his videos they are all pointing towards war of some form or another, often implied as imminent but based on unverifiable ‘sources on the ground’. Looks like clickbait to me

Don’t be so naive to believe everything you read on here. Traders have multiple accounts and will post both positive and negative comments to suit their trading strategy. i.e. build hype to push up SP and create fear and doubt to reduce it again.

Always do your own research and form your own independent judgements!
