With respect investec are by far the worst broker in predicting this industry They had a sell on bet in march with a rerate of £5.50? Then takeover rumours late spring they shifted to £7.50 hold? Still no buy recommend. Then they said sell when the sp was at 9.50 after takeover talks cooled It's since posted the best interim against all it's rivals and is nearing £11.00. Between now and the World Cup is another trading update and a BIG advertising campaign along with sponsorship with channel 4 racing. I'd imagine the cash out advertisement will be prime time next year hence the whooper bill! Champions league games etc running up to the World Cup, the deal with channel 4 covers the horses so all in all it's great marketing and another good move by Corcoran. Speculate to accumulate as they say. Provided there is no law changes between now and then, One can only imagine the buying pressure next divi date will be extremely high.
