I’d rather wait until we hit a floor and then invest than do so when it’s on the way down. 1p to 20pis a 2000% increase. Good luck with that one. You’ll be waiting a long time to get your money back. I’d rather invest elsewhere.

You’re wasting your time Dragon. This board is full of bitter punters who have lost much of their investment after buying in on day one at 25p. Fundamentals, blah, blah, blah - 150% rise needed to get back to 25p chaps. That ain’t happening any time soon - I’d rather be invested in Saga that’s for sure ??

No news seems forthcoming at all from the board. Surely, the hiring is a positive sign with regard to progress but there is nothing out there which really demonstrates this even with regard to the ads themselves. You’d think they’d be announcing every single contract - what with them being an advertiser! I find this astounding to be honest. The other more sobering possibility is that in spite of all the hype regarding games as an under utilised advertising medium, the number of paying clients remains woefully small. This is my fear here. I see such promise with Bidstack but I’m starting to believe that as share holders we’ll just keep facing dilution or ultimately the company going down the pan.

Are those figures true real time? I doubt it. Remember, nobody forced sellers to accept any given price. On the other side of each sale there is a buyer. It has to be so.

The number of utter idiots on this board talking about manipulation by the market makers is astounding. Simple market economics - supply and demand. This is not about manipulation at all. Holders are selling shares after a spectacular IPO in which price shot up more than 500%. These holders are taking profits. If you decided to buy at 25p then bad luck. You either sell and take a loss or hold and wait. There is a big difference between speculation and investment. This is a speculative share at the moment. Most retail investors SHOULD NOT speculate but steadily accumulate high quality, undervalued shares.
Save your money and buy The Intelligent Investor by Benjamin Graham and start over. Too many Del Boys around.

Seriously, if you don’t have a clue about simple share trading terminology you shouldn’t be trading. Reading these boards is painful - just do a bit of reading before you start. Otherwise, you will end up screwed.... and then no doubt it will be the market’s fault.

I really worry that the growth just isn’t half as strong as you hope.
Demand for the advertising space isn’t as high as hoped. Excellent tech but just not being taken up at the rate predicted.
Elongated advertising cycles is an alarm for me. They can’t sell the space available.
It’s as simple as that.

helx, I can understand the negative sentiment given your position. I will consider averaging down a little and jump when the pain either reduces a little or becomes unbearable and quite frankly at the moment I’m not sure which will happen first. Bottom line, we all want Bidstack to do well but most aren’t convinced one way or another. It’s definitely a punt, nothing more in my mind.

I love the phrase “As the Bidstack sales team matures”. As if the sales team are a fine single malt or more likely school leavers!
That sort of spiel irritates me immensely. I certainly interpret the sentiment as:
1). Demand to fill space was lower than anticipated.
2). They need to improve sales sharpish.
None of it fills shareholders with confidence, that’s for sure!

I still have a little optimism and will hold and wait for the next inevitable false dawn. 11p and I’m gone for sure. That is clearly a long way off at the moment, until some vague press release or similar presents itself. I may dip back in if sp slides back to 4p to average down and then hope to jump ship when the next up cycle happens. Otherwise, it’s hold and hope which is the case for the majority of retail holders I reckon. Not a great position to be in at all but that is the risk with AIM speculation. I feel sorry for that poor teacher who invested heavily here. I’m annoyed enough with my potential losses.

I’ve seen that you get lots of stick for deramping the Bidstack share price, but can’t establish if you are a shareholder. I find it hilarious that anyone thinks that comments on a LSE chat board have any effect on a share price. However, I also note you never really qualify any of your comments. What’s the story?

Deepjoy - can’t argue with anything you say. I do confess to having inadequate knowledge of the previous behaviour of the BOD. In essence, the concept is compelling, but execution lacking. This view has been echoed multiple times I know!

Warrantwatcher - bottom drawer for me too but I’m not too optimistic given the really negative market reaction yesterday and today. We’ll languish at 4-6p for the foreseeable. Perhaps in 5 years we’ll all be able to celebrate?
Schrow123, I acknowledge the growth and H2 weighting from last year, but will the company really sustain such high growth?
In the update, lengthening of sales cycles is mentioned - to me this suggests revenues are not expected to increase as previously hoped. In the meantime costs remain high.
I still think fundamentally there is not enough demand for advertising in games in spite of all the positive research. Traditional channels remain the norm.
I’m very interested in both optimistic and pessimistic opinions on the future of Bidstack.

HivedOff, I’ve done similar. Sold some quality holdings (Microsoft and Amazon) to increase holdings in this speculative punt. Goes against my normal rules of investing but I’ll admit I got taken in by what I see as great potential for growth here. It’s either a case now of hold and hope for the best in the next 2-3 years accepting a significant risk of losing the lot or absorb a major hit now. We all know AIM shares are risky but with more careful stewardship by the BOD I think Bidstack might be rated more highly now and we’d all be a lot happier.

Bought in at 8p last year after research and genuine belief in the idea of in game advertising and immediately watched the share price drop to 4p after a disappointing update. This company appears to have a track record of hypeing the market by releasing a snippet via some channel or other then totally disappointing when actual update released. Much as I want to believe in Bidstack I fear this pattern will repeat again and again. Like many others I wish I’d sold a month ago. If this rises again I will definitely get out as I can’t see it rocketing to the moon as others on this board. I’d love detail about these ridiculous staffing levels and some firm information about new contracts but know this will not be forthcoming. Revenue needs to increase 4-500% for the company to make some sort of profit. Dilution inevitable later in year, maybe after another tease from Draper to create yet another brief rise.
BOD do not give two hoots about the shareholders imho. Hate to say it but money down the drain.
