Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
With only a £21m mkt cap ..cash in the bank ..low number of shares and covid very much back at the forefront ...can’t say I’m not very intrigued to see how high this goes ..and very quickly I expect ..gla ..big big few weeks coming here ...
net / macro environment has changed ...look at HOC ..it’s environment changed mines could have been hit (they won’t be by looks of it) but it lost 50% + of its value ...sentiment has massive part to play in stocks and sentiment towards covid plays is turning back to them
What’s new is there looks like a more transmissible and potentially vaccine evading variant ...and as a company with a test and soon to have POC test all eyes are back on covid plays ...lockdowns are beginning and being strengthens across Europe ..travel curbs being put in place ...covid has just exploded back to the front of everything ...and we’re only just going into winter really so it’s prob going to get worse before it gets better ...

o Life-of-mine: 11 years
o Low project capital expenditure of approximately $119 million
o Average annual EBITDA of approximately $50m[1]
§ Name changed to Aclara (formerly known as Biolantanidos)
Ignacio Bustamante, Chief Executive Officer said:
"We acquired 100% of Aclara in October 2019 and have applied Hochschild's operational expertise and distinctive culture to move the project forward. In taking on the project, we have dealt with new minerals and a value chain dynamic that is totally different from precious metals and relatively unknown to the western world. It is a challenge we have embraced and one which has enriched our organization still further. I am confident that the combination of our de-risking process together with strong fundamentals underlying our investment thesis and the significant recent increase in rare earth prices will deliver a very exciting future for this business."
That’s because they’ve banked their profit and left the newbies holding the bag
