Looks like HomeRetail have a buyer for Homesbase for £350m, Homebase would be sold before JS would take over Argos id their bid was accepted which means they would not have the hassle in disposing of it. Would expect an announcement with the trading update tomorrow.

They may now be able to hold out for £1.90, only worth that if someone is prepared to pay for it, not sure how sound the business model has been to deliver Q3 and Christmas trade, coupe of more days and I guess we will know when the results come out Thursday. Would love £1,90 so keeping my fingers x !

Hoping that the market will come back this week and we started too see a climb back, looking for £5 again although a little nervous after some retailers have posted disappointing Christmas figures ! Thoughts anyone ?

JW prob ain't got a clue whats gong on !!! Hit the 80s as I thought, where is the next stop ? I find the SP drop astonishing .................. !!!!

Last year this SP was peaked about £2,20, looks like this is going to hit the 80s any day soon. IMO the business is poorly run and the leadership team should be asking themselves some serious questions, if I was performing this bad in my job I would either leave or be asked to leave. DixonsCarphone had a great set of numbers today where they continue to batter Home Retail, clearly DC are showing HR what can be doe with strong leadership, saying that there are many has beens from DC that we're crap now working for HR, so maybe this has something to do with their current SP. Here is hoping for some luck..............or a take over, we are going to need one of them !!!!

After a cracking rally today, maybe we will see +£4.90 and moving towards £4.95 on open. GL all !

Was rather hoping for £4.95 but with the drop over recent days, think I can say good bye to that :(
