It’s a good, well run company. Making nice profits each year. Currently they’re looking at repaying debts as opposed the providing a dividend and thus the issue of the scrip dividend. Very little news flow at the moment, but very little is changing or needs to change.

Obviously do you own thorough research but long and short of it is: If you don’t mind putting some cash aside for a few years and collect a small scrip dividend in return whilst the debt is being repaid, this is a fairly low risk investment and the share price is low at them moment. I’ve got somewhere in the region of a 10 bagger in mind in about 6-7 years. However, if you’re wanting to make a few quid quickly, but willing to take on a little more risk, there’s other shares out there that are better prospects.

I’ve been in EUA since 0.45p and have been in here since April. Sorry to burst the bubble KOD are more along the lines of VAST, in terms of asset size and shares in issue, not EUA.

Just read some of these comments. It provides an amusing read.

The shares won’t be getting forward sold. The plan has always been for IIG to become the majority shareholder. They know the assets are worth a substantial sum and wouldn’t be stupid enough to sell-up their holding for a few million when it’s only costing £7.2m to start production.

The risk here is that funding won’t be secured. It’s more than likely it will be secured. However, it still remains a risk.

The AGM has nothing to do with the FSP. It ‘may’ get mentioned in conversation but they don’t have to discuss it at all as it doesn’t form part of the agenda. Plus what are they going say, ‘The FSP is ongoing, we can’t discuss it any further I’m afraid’.

Google’s showing it at .34p now, 23% up. After a fair few years I may finally be in profit here soon if this holds up!

It’s nice to see it finally rising. I’m glad I had a few decent top-ups at 0.25p too. I see KIBO as my next EUA, I’ve been in there since 0.45p and am hoping CS can do the same again here.

As frustrating as the wait is and as incompetent LC is, the projects will generate substantial revenue in the future. My thoughts are that by the balance of probability, at least one of them will get off the ground. Provided we can get one project off the ground (excluding MED), this should easily go up to 5p, if not considerably higher.

Have I missed something here? Just looked in my account and UFO is showing a very healthy profit.

I’ve been thinking about this since October as there’s a very good chance it could happen.

After any special divi it’s likely to tank no matter what because it would likely jump on the news of the divi, so will inevitably drop back down afterwards. How low it goes purely depends on what’s left asset wise and the future plans of the company. If we retained WK, put a plan of action in place for Semenovsky and announced we were going to apply for a mining licence around Volchutundra to follow in MT’s footsteps, it wouldn’t drop much at all. Similarly, if an asset sale bought about a divi of 50p+, many long term holders wouldn’t be too concerned with selling out as they’d reap a nice profit from the divi, so would be happy to just leave their holding for a few years to see where the company is heading.

I hope it is because I’ve just topped-up another 2m, so it would be very nice timing indeed!

A dividend? Haha, the stuff people come out with!

We announced a placing just over a week ago for $10m. If we had cash to pay out a dividend we wouldn’t have had to raise funds.

The AGM is just as any other, nothing more, nothing less. I’ve heard one or two mentioning it will possibly be a vote on accepting an offer. Only way this is happening is if it is announced beforehand and then incorporated into the agenda.

Some people have been looking far too much into this AGM update.

9a just relates to a rights issue. Effectively, if the company needed to raises funds in the future, they could offer discounted shares to existing holders.

The flanks licence to me was the important one, as this wasn’t getting sold without it, not for a substantial sum anyway.

The 48405m of drilling data is now the important part in terms of an offer price.

Either way, MT has been significantly reduced in risk for EUA. If no offer comes in that the BoD deem satisfactory, we have the option of going it alone, which with the experience of the newest additions to the BoD wouldn’t be a bad thing either.

As you say, purely just a waiting game now.

The percentage increase doesn’t work like that. For myself it would be exactly the same compared against my initial investment, ie it would be another 5000% increase if it went to 50p. You work your margin out from your initial investment to the point at which you sell, not go off the difference to the current share price.

It’s newer investors that will benefit significantly less from 25-50p. It’s a very good uplift still, but as a comparison I’m in UFO, SRES and KEFI, all of which have doubled in value in just over a month, which is the same margin as getting in EUA now and selling out at 50p.

I’m currently 5000% up on my initial investment here. If we get a sale price of 50p that’s going to 10000%. Those that were early by far have the most to gain.

It’s crazy how valuations have risen over time. 10 months ago we were all saying on this board ‘with the flanks licence this will attract 20-30p’. Once AFC’s broker note was published on EUA’s website we were all saying ‘there may be a chance we could get somewhere around 50p’. During suspension 75p valuations started being thrown around. Now after suspension, all these £1, £2, £3... £8 valuations are being mentioned.

Ultimately, no one on this board knows but if you’re a newbie here, I’d recommend looking at the actual sale in $ rather than a final share price in pence or pounds. 30p equates to around $1billion, £1 near $3.6billion and £8 pushing on $30billion. It’s easy to get caught up with the £1+ expectations without looking what they actually equate to in a sale. Obviously all are possible as none of us know, but don’t be like a deer in headlights when seeing some figures others are posting.

Always good to wake up to an RNS like that.

Now that’s the news that any potential purchaser would have been waiting for. Hopefully not too long now before we hear news of an offer.

I wonder if we’ll hear any news on the Geo work that has been going on or whether this info will just go to potential buyers.

It’s always good to see a placing at a 25% discount. 90m shares isn’t just a drop in the ocean either. Not exactly the best news to hear on a Monday morning!
