The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Yes, absolutely the drop in gold price has damaged GGP share price because it is more of a sentiment thing. Last year gold was flying and therefore everyone wanted exposure and gold miners like GGP were the prefect play. Also news was great with GGP at the time. With gold coming off it's highs and with so much expectation regarding Scally Wag this has damaged GGP share price. I think now gold is finding it's footing again we will see a rise in GGP and other gold miners. I personally think the reaction re Scally Wag has been way over done and GGP is a VERY STRONG buy at these prices. It is a shame Gervaise is leaving and I think that has damaged sentiment as well. We need more news flow re GGP and more things that everyone can get excited about which will come so BUY while this is so cheap is my view.
Gold price having a good day, broken resistance at $1745 and currently at $1756 so hopefully we are seeing a correction now. This will only help all the gold mining shares. OMI / GGP both way undervalued. Hopefully positive sentiment is returning and we can move OMI back into the 25p range and beyond.
Hi Drspoc, to answer your question in my view this share price is heading UP. We are only at the beginning of the re-rate. Like investing in GGP at 1p or 2p there is a massive amount of gain to be had here. Don't miss out by selling too early you will really regret it. Others have already said about near and long term targets so it depends how patient you are. Long term I can see this hitting plus £3 it all depends on how fast Phase 2 can get going and the company can start generating $200m plus a year. So in summary buy as many as you can at this level and hold on as long as you can and you will do very well. In my view.
There are a few target prices that others have said but personally I will not be selling a single share until this is north of £1.20 and at that time I will review it. Don't give up your shares cheap. This one is a winner.
Its not a secret and has been RNS'd about his investment / involvement. There have been interviews with Sir Mick see below
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fAm3MiS6d74
BUT everyone like confirmation and that is the point. As soon as it is confirmed it gives another level of confidence and it means that the next stages begin.
I personally think that when the RNS lands confirming Sir Mick as chairman we will be into the 50p range and up. So good opportunity to collect a few more shares before that happens. That news could land any day now but I think it will be this week. You simply could not have a better chairman and he is planning to bring in a new team etc. Institutional money is going to be all over this share. I don't see that there is much point in delaying phase 2 as the cash it will be generating will mean it pays for itself so quickly. Very exciting to be on board is share and well done anyone who has been buy this up recently. This is definitely the best share I own.
New tax year, ISA allowance. I cannot think of a better share to put in an ISA than this one. Also really looking forward to confirmation of Sir Mick as Chairman I think that will take this to another level. Some heavy weight investors may well eat up even more of the free float of shares. To me it is just a matter of time before this is £1 as iceman has said. Just looking at anything else I can sell so I can load more on this Tuesday am.
The below was posted by "SP28" and is a fantastic summary:
Quick recap for any new holders.
ALL FACTS based on presentations/interviews/website.
1. Will become the largest Vanadium producer in the world
2. Will be the lowest cost producer in the World
3. BFS due within next few months (someone mentioned July/August) - As CEO says ' this will electrify the share price'
4. NPV - $2billion, most likely to be revised up, a very conservative price used
5. IRR - 89%, could be revised up (unheard off)
6. Payback Period- 1 year, again could be revised down lol
7. Cost of production - $1.54, lowest in the world (When including all the by products, Vanadium gets a credit of $1.20 /lb, completely unheard off)
8. ALL infrastructure already in place, i.e Power, water, roads, rail
9. Ex CEO of Xstrata and Anglo American have bought in through their green vehicle Vision Blue
10. Ex CEO of Xstrata - Sir Mick Davis, will become Chairman of Ferro Alloy
11. Vision blue, Sir Mick' fund, has options to buy upto $20mln worth of shares at 78pence!!!!!
12. Unique asset, unlike any other asset, therefore easy to mine and process
13. Open Pit Mine
14. ALL equity dilution now done, all going to be going to Vision Blue, so in sticky hands
15. With the current mini processing of 1500 tonnes a year, revenue should be $27m at current prices, $10m free cash flow, backing up current market cap, hardly anything baked into consideration for the big mine
16. Only 1 ore body explored, there are another 4!!
17. LSE MAIN MARKET Listing
18. Battery Metal
19. Vanadium will be in deficit from 2021 onwards
20.ALL the due diligence has been done by Sir Mick and his team
21. This is not just a financial investment. Sir Mick and team will be providing all their technical expertise, experience and utilising their contact book, to take this to the next level, and into production!
22. Target price from last year 171pence, after BFS expect this to be revised up.
23. Location - Easily transport to China/Europe by rail
24. Transfer of 16.7m shares on 24/03/2021 from CEO to new and existing institutional investors @ 30pence!!
25. Sir Mick in due course is bringing in an Xstrata colleague to the board of FAR, he has been running a Large Vanadium Mine in South Africa!
26. Deposit big enough for stage 3, stage 4, if demand changes in the future, could easily ramp up.
27. Sir Mick will construct his own team from all his contacts in the mining world to take this to production. Very clearly stated in his interview he is not a passive investor in FAR
28. 2 BOD members hold 35% of all shares. With other institutions and now Vision Blue holdings in FAR, free float must be very small.
This will be multiples. The asset is world class, and now we have world class investors and management to take this to the next level!
The below is one of my older posts. Watch the interview with Sir Mick.
About 25:44 minutes into the below interview Sir Mick says that the focus of his investment into Ferro Alloys is to make sure that the NPV of this project can be realised. Wow so $2bln Net PRESENT value. That is Sir Mick saying that Xstrata boss soon to be chairman of FAR.
He also says about 26mins in FAR has the potential to generate ENORMOUS amounts of money for it's shareholders.

I think we are in safe hands.
The re-rate on this share has not even begun in my view.
I know it is great. The potential with FAR is just amazing. We are so lucky to be able to load on this at these prices. I think that in some ways people have just not believed it and also there has been money issues hence slow progress. But now Sir Mick has joined it has bought massive credibility. He is going to transform this company new management and funding. This share is just so under the radar most have not hear of it. We are very lucky to have tuned into it.
Welcome abroad. Good choice, this is a great buy with massive upside potential. Also still early days. Got so so much more to run. We are talking 5 - 10 bags from this level and the recommendation was probably from me as I have posted on ARB and SYME but I am not planning to spread the word anymore as don't need to this will just fly all by itself. Next RNS will be Sir Mick appointed as Chairman. That is going to attract a lot of heavy weight investors. So well done for getting in today.
Yes looking good today. Would be great to make a new 52 week high on the close. Will set this up nicely for next week. As more investors get onboard it is going to get even harder to get hold of shares at volume. Load up and enjoy the ride.
Fantastic posts as always everyone today. Please tell me you lot have already fully loaded on this share. We are talking life changing for some. I fully intended to change career once this hit £3 plus and I really feel it will. I have invested in so many shares over time but have never put as much into one share as this one. Feel so confident and relaxed about it. I am not a novice I used to manage clients money for a living but changed career and went into IT. Anyway looking forward to tomorrow. In for the long haul and what a ride it is going to be.
Hard to say what will happen tomorrow but with a long Bank Holiday weekend I would not be surprised if we close around 45p. Still so cheap. Everyday that goes by we are one step closer to new Chairman being announced and I think that will be an additional catalyst.
It is amazing to be onboard this share at these levels, price will fluctuate but this share is currently so undervalued. LOAD UP AND HOLD is all you have to do. Sir Mick himself said FAR has the potential to create ENORMOUS amounts of value for it's shareholders.
Do we think phase 2 will take 4 years. I think it will be faster than that. I really think Sir Mick is going to turbo charge things for FAR now. They really don't have anything holding them back. They have the money they need and they are potentially are going to have the very best team working on this with Sir Mick's contacts etc. Really think things are going to really motor now.
