As waffen points out, oil stocks are a bit battered at the mo, along with most shares to be fair. I'm still bullish on BPC, despite my grumblings over the years about Potter.... Historically we've been down to 0.50 with hardly any cash, yet he still managed to convince the market to stump up more. 1p-2p is game on.. GL

So many shares are up for grabs... perceived up for grabs.. seems the majority of the ftse shares are at 2016 prices and its a Roller coaster ride for a while. I'm buying across the board and holding cash for any fall out. RMG is so tempting!

Glad to see the back of that trough. Thought I'd bought a Turkey this time last month.... held and added through the dip and now onwards to double figures again. Shares can really test you at times!

Despite it not turning positive yet, Ive dropped a few quid in here. More upside than down with the takeover rumours still circling..

Tiburn... I can remember all the excitement with Zarubezhneft and Cubapetroleo.....what a feck up that turned out to be..... and even then BPC did nowt.

So many on the brink of dropping out it might aswell be renamed FTSE 50! I had EZJ shares back at 350-750 years ago, shame I sold but needed the cash at the time. Now I've got a few quid I'll be buying again at these levels. GLA.

one issue I have with BPC is that you have to follow it in the unlikely event it moves.... nothing is more dull than a flatline share.

Cheers dallo, these are all valid reasons for the SP to rise but similar to so many stocks it isn't...yet. I suppose my ITV entry will come down to timing rather than fundamentals.

its all negative noise on the news lately, not many are riding the storm, the airline Industry is in a headwind at the moment...

Ive had ITV on my watch list for quite sometime. Its got lower than my original buy target, so obviously now its getting to the point of purchase. 3 issues are holding me back though... The roll out in H2 of the britbox and how costly that will be, the small increase in Net debt at 31 March 2019 to £981m (31 December 2018: £927m) and The net pension deficit of the defined benefit schemes at 31 March 2019 at £133m (31 December 2018: £38m).
This has to turn North soon and i'll join when it does.GL to holders

from the 7th MAy 2019: Shares in Thomas Cook (TCG) jumped more than 10% to 24p after the boss of German airline Lufthansa said his firm will make an offer for Thomas Cook’s German airline Condor.

Lufthansa chief executive officer Carsten Spohr reportedly made the admission to journalists at Lufthansa's annual general meeting, intriguingly adding that there could even be deal to be struck for the UK holiday company's entire airline fleet.
