Notaflapper_ Are you nuts?....if any other country goes in, it turns into world war 3, especially if the county going in is a NATO country.... if that does happen i forecast a nuclear winter on the horizon.
Rant over,
CPI is really starting to annoy, i don't always follow the chat but i have no clue why this share is on the floor, i am looking at Sopra Steria, DXC, Cap Gemini & Computer center, non of them seem to be affected much by anything (pandemic aside)
Happy to be corrected, but i believe there are 1,668.70m capita share in circulation, at .2243 per share, that values Capita at £374,289.41
Why hasn't someone made an offer for the company??
The cynic in me would say, the price will keep going until the 4th when the Capita employee Share purchase kicks in then it will drop back down again....in other words, it looks like someone is managing the price of this stock. lets see what happens.
So the CPI train pulling out of the station was heading north then made a U-Turn.
The cynic in me tells me this will go up around the 4th the month when all the Capita employees buy their shares then drop back again, if the SP gods are listening, prove me wrong please :)
From my limited view, I think there is more to it than just Covid, if you take a look at Cap Gemini who are carrying significantly more debt than Capita. They also took a big hit when Covid struck (2/3 drop) their price is now beyond pre covid levels.
Something else is holding Capita down, possible the debt, and possibly the ESS sale ongoing saga or the those that see benefit in shorting or even a combination of all.
