It's never nice to hear of loses of any magnitude but that is quite large (for me), out of interest why did you sell.

Forgot to mention the new directors shares are locked in for 12 months.

Most of the placing shares have gone to the GB directors as payment for their company, do you really think with what they know about their acreage that they would be turning them over for a quick buck, I think not. And anyone who bought on the book build who wished to make a quick buck will have turned over their shares by the AGM. Dream on.GLA

The full benefit of the GB assets will not be reflected in the sp until after the merger has been ratified at the AGM, will be interesting to see how the assets v extra shares works out.

They were at 15.50 with circa 273mill shares, my worry was, the amount of shares are going to double, and depending on how the market sees what GB's asset's are worth would it adversely affect the sp or not. Not an issue anymore though as I looked at the long game and have bought more to come down to roughly half my previous average with the expectation of at least recovering my stake this year.GLA

Im looking to add some shares here but wondered if the price could drop dramatically when the new shares are added (as i'm confident the deal will go through) Any thoughts.

I think the announcement of the Italian deal came just as the big sell off started and got lost, we may be seeing it trickled into the sp now.GLA
